"Yue… Yue, wake up." Yue rolled over to peek at who it was. Mana her older sister stood there. Yue had no intention on starting the day yet. (Maybe if I pretend to be asleep she'll leave) Yue thought. She heard footsteps go across her room. "Poopie" She mumbled as the curtains were drawn. "Momma said get up, We're going to the Kazekages today." Yue quickly got up. "Why do we have to go to the stupid Kazekages anyway?" She could hear her brother Tao from the hallway. "Tao!" She heard her mother snap. Yue looked at her sister.
"Mana… Is the Kazekage a mean man?"
"No, Why would you think that?"
"I dunno…" She turned around to her closet to find her nice Pink and white Kimono. "Mana how come Tao doesn't want to go to the Kazekages?"
"Oh because he and the Kazekages eldest son are rivals!" She grinned.
"Oh." Yue got dressed quickly and turned to her sister. "Can you do my hair? You always make it pretty" Mana smiled and nodded. Her hair took about three minutes. Yue smiled and thanked her sister before running downstairs where Tao and her mother were still arguing. Her mother looked over to see Yue and Mana coming down the stairs. "Good, You're both ready. Lets go."
Yue ran ahead of her family so she could look at the shops. The previous month Yues father had sent her money for her seventh birthday and she had yet to spend it. She smiled, as she looked at all the trinkets. After about an hour or so they arrived at a big building. Yue looked up at it and stared. Her mother smiled and walked over to a set of stairs where a brown haired man greeted her. Yue poked Mana "Is that the Kazekage?" Mana nodded yes as she slowly walked over. The man smiled at Mana. Yue looked around fascinated by her new surroundings. To her right she saw a young red haired boy with his face in his hands who looked to be about her age. She cautiously walked over and put her hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay?" She could hear him crying softly. "Hey" She said in a soft tone "What's wrong?" "Yue!" Her mother yelled "Get over here and introduce yourself" Yue looked at the boy and said "I'll be right back" as she ran to her mothers side. "and this is my youngest Yue" She put her hand on Yues shoulder. The man smiled then went back to speaking with her mother. Yue turned to see if the boy was still there. He wasn't.
"Momma.. Can I go look at the shops again?"
"Sure, But be back before dark." Yue ran off towards the market.
"FREAK!"
"You're not even a person!"
"Kill him."
"You're just a freak!"
Yue looked towards the fuss. There in the street were five boys surrounding the one red haired boy. "Oh no" she whispered. She made her way over to some crates and peeked over them. One of the boys raised his arm to hit the boy. Yue bolted out from behind the crates. "STOPPIT!" She screamed. Everyone looked at her. One of the bigger kids stepped out from the group. "Go away. You don't belong here." Yue slowly walked over to the boy and took his hand to help him up. She looked him over. "You okay?" He nodded. "Hey! I thought he told you to go away" He shoved Yue. She quickly turned around. "Don't touch me." She said, trying to sound as threatening as possible. One of the other boys smirked. "I think she wants to play." Yue grabbed the boys hand and took of through the streets. "Don't let them get away!" One of the boys yelled. "In here!" Yue pulled the boy into an old burned down house. She looked at the boy and extended her hand "I'm Yue." The boy looked her up and down. After a few seconds of awkwardness she put her hand on he lap. He stared at her hand. "I'm Gaara"
