Frightened whispered ran through a small group of dog-like creatures. The dogs in the group had eyes full of misery and sadness. The leader wanted them to leave? But wh

"Then we'll fight them and leave victorious!" their leader assured when the question was asked, "We will get through the forest and to Fortree City. It's our destiny."

"But we are thought to not exist anymore!" a red creature cried afterwards, "If we're spotted by trainers, we'll be captured and sold for much money because we're rare!"

"Then we won't get spotted by trainers!" smiled a brown fox-like creature, "We'll avoid them and get to Fortree City!"

"That's the spirit, Light Moon!" the silver-purple leader smiled, the red jewel in it's forehead gleaming in the moonlight, "Light Moon speaks with the right enthusiasm and courage, but not as much knowledge."

Light Moon cocked her head and sighed, staring down at the ground. "My friends always said I was short of mind."

"Light Moon," whispered a blue creature, "You are but a small Eevee. As you grow, so will your mind." The Vaporeon glanced down at her daughter and smiled.

"The trainers are much smarter nowadays," added a yellow, spikey furred creatures, "They have devices that can tell them where we are. We will have to use our wits to get to our new home."

The leader nodded. "That is true, Thunder Storm. But, we have to go on. I mean, look at this place," the Espeon said, glancing around, "All the water in our home dried up, along with the trees. In a few days, this will just be a barren desert wasteland. That is why we must go."

"You are right, Gemstone," whispered a black dog creature, "We will never survive in this place. When do we leave?"

"Hopefully tomorrow," Gemstone answered, "So everyone get some rest and be prepared to leave as soon as possible. As of right now, we Espeons, Umbreons, Vaporeons, Flareons, Jolteons, and Eevees are a pack. We are the Lakewater Pack."

The Lakewater Pack barked in agreement. Afterwards, they all went towards the caves that were dug into the wall and layed down, ready to sleep.
