Chapter One
"How could he do this to me?"
Avalon was taking a walk in the park. She needed to straiten out her thoughts.
"Avalon..you there Avalon?"
"Tai?"
It was Tai. He was running towards Avalon. She supposed he heard her crying.
"Oh, Taichi-kun..."
"What's wrong?"
Avalon just cried. She was too upset to talk.
Just then Avalon heard noises in the bushes. She looked up and saw Matt. She ran.
"Avalon, come back!" But it was no use, she had already gone.
"Tai? What are you doing here?" asked Matt.
"None of your busness." And then he ran after Avalon.
"Damnit, I'm such a jerk. Falling for that..ugh, thing!"
Avalon lied down on the couch and cried. Just then someone knocked on the door.
"Noone's home," she muttered into a pillow.
Avalon's sis Ashley started to walk towards the door. "DONT answer it!!" But it was too late.
It was Tai. Avalon pretended to be asleep. "Aw comeon, I know your not sleeping," said Tai.
"Get lost," she said into her pillow.
"Um, I got you something.." Tai held out a box of chocolates and Avalon looked up.
"Thanks," said Avalon.
"Tell me what happened," said Tai. "I'm worried."
So she took a deep breath, and sighed...
"Well, I think Yama-kun is cheating on me!! He was with Mimi yesterday, at the dance, she was crying on his shoulder, and he kissed her on the cheek. And then they left together!!"
Avalon burst out in tears. Tai hugged her.
"I feel so betrayed.." Avalon said as she wiped her eyes.
Then Ashley came in.
"Oooh look at the lovebirds!!"
"CRAM IT!!" said Tai and Avalon is unision.
Then she ran off to her room.
Avalon and Tai laughed.
"To think that we were..."
"That's insane!!" interupted Tai.
They looked at each other.
"Um..Avalon?"
"Yeah?"
Then he kissed her.
