Greg's been keeping a secret. No one knows what it is. After Greg goes missing the team tries to search for him, only to come up empty. A year or two passes before any word comes and it's in a way anyone would of expected. Summary: Greg's been keeping a secret. No one knows what it is. After Greg goes missing the team tries to search for him only to come up empty. A year or two passes before any word comes and it's not in a way anyone would of expected. Greg-centric, pairing still undecided.

Signing what needed to be signed, he shoved the crisp white sheet in the manila envelope. Sealing it, he scrawled a name on the front. Checking to see anyone coming, he bent down and quickly pushed the precious item under the door. With one last look around, he exited the crime lab, wishing, hoping, and praying the worst part was done.

Walking in the crime lab, a bleary-eyed Gil Grissom made his way to his office. He had worked two triples in the last week, and a double the night before. It would have been a triple if crime hadn't of taken a break last night. For once feeling complete exhaustion, he hoped today would be better. Unlocking the door he noticed a yellow envelope on the floor. Bending down, he noted that his name was etched on the package. Thinking of it as office junk from Ecklie he tossed it on his desk, grabbing the assignment slips, he headed out of the door. Leaving the envelope half hanging off his desk, forgotten.

Stepping into the break room, Grissom cleared his throat. "Alright guys, we only have two cases; Catherine, you take the 419 at the Rampart. Nick, you and I have a body dump in the desert."

"Then what am I supposed to do?" Sara protested, crossing her arms in a huff.

"I need you to finish the Paulson case from the other night."

"Fine." She thought for minute, before asking. "What about Greg? Can I use him?"

"Sure but he's off today." The brunette growled heatedly before moving from the room.

"Alright people, time to work."
