A/N: Looking for constructive criticism. I used to write fanfics but then decided to focus on my originals. Now I'm just trying to get some criticism on my writing style/ errors I make frequently.

Rose's Point of View
I smile, against his lips. You'd never guess how happy I am. You'd never guess that in an hour, we'd be hiding our relationship again. You see, my name is Rose. And his name is Andre. He's royalty, and to be honest… I'm not sure he'll ever want to tell anyone about us. It kills me, but I take what I can get. After having a crush since kindergarten… I just realize that he could not know I exist again.
Andre is amazing. We've been secretly dating for two and a half months. His blonde hair and jade green eyes stand out against his pale Moroi skin. Oh yeah, he's a vampire. I guess I should mention we aren't 'normal'. Moroi are vampires, but they're the good kind. They're nothing like Strigoi, who are the walking undead and have red eyes. They have no mercy, and kill anything that they can get their hands on. Oh, and by the way, I'm a dhampir. I'm half moroi and half human.
"Rose, we need to go. We have to go back to the academy soon," Andre tells me, and I sigh leaning into his arms.
"Dre…. I really don't want to. It means going back to pretending…" I tell him, honestly. I see hurt and pain flicker in his eyes as he stands quickly. We were on vacation with his family.
"Look, Rose I can't stand to keep us a secret. But… I'm just worried that they'll try to break us apart. It's not typically accepted." He said and I nod. After all, he is royalty…. And I'm not. I blink away tears and stand.
"Let's go," I say curtly and go to walk away before he pulls me back to him.
I look into his eyes and he pushes me against the wall. His body presses itself to mine and I gasp. He presses his lips to mine and kisses me passionately. His tongue glides along my lower lip asking permission and I grant it. He doesn't let loose and kiss me this way very often. So when he does, it's like heaven. Soon he's pulling away to kiss my neck and I find myself moaning. Finally he pulls his body away from mine, and I sigh, disappointed.
"I think you're beautiful, intelligent, and the best thing that could ever happen to me. I think you fit in with my family beautifully; I mean you're my sister's best friend. You stand up for yourself and others. You aren't afraid of anything, and sometimes that's your down fall. But most of all… I think I love you, Rose" He tells me, and I look away.
"Why do I feel like you're about to say but?" I ask, and this time he looks anywhere but my eyes.
He sighs and runs a hand through his blonde hair, "but I have to convince my family of that before we tell them. My parents wouldn't freak out as much as anyone else would but I don't want anyone to take out my decision not to date royalty on you." He tells me, and I nod with tears in my eyes.
We walk to our hotels, where his family is waiting, and gather our belongings before meeting them at the car. Back to the academy, we head. Lissa, my best friend, and I sit beside each other with Dre on the other side of Lissa. My life wouldn't be complete without Lissa, and I hope to be one of her guardians one day, but she'll only have the best. Lissa and I talk about classes, and how school will suck when all the sudden I hear Mrs. Dragomir scream and I look up in time to see lights flood the car. Soon, everything is spinning and I look up to see Dre's eyes go wide as my head hits the door.
And then the whole world goes black.
