hey guys since this is toothless's past, i'm going to be putting a lot of suspense into the story, it will take time between chapters unlike my first story, so please be patient , I will also let someone who is reading the book decide on the title and toothless's old name because I can't think of anything, they will be chosen after one hour after the second chapter, but I hope you all enjoy. :-)
Coming back from fishing, my dad saw my mom staring at the egg (me), he looked at her smiling, "staring at it won't make it hatch any faster" he said with a chuckle, she looked up and frowned "I know but its been taking forever for it to hatch that i'm a little worried, I don't want to lose an egg." walking closer to give her a kiss and hug, he see's the egg move, he pauses and checks to see if it did, it shook again, he rolled it into the water so there would not be lots of lava in the cave, when at the bottom of the water, I hatched, I swam up to the surface and climbed onto the rock floors of the cave, I looked up to see my parents smiling down at me, "black scales and green eyes" my mom giggled, "he's just like you hunny" he smiled.
"So what do you want to name him" he asked
"Well he doesn't have teeth yet so... lets wait and see."
They both grabbed a trout and chewed them for me and put it in front of me, at first I thought they were going to feed it to me but i'm happy that I get to eat without help, when I was done they went and held me close as we all fell asleep.
