The Understanding

A 'what if' or 'what could have been poem' for Sephiroth. This was basically my first fanfiction ever, even though it's a poem. SUMMARY UPDATED MAY '07

THE UNDERSTANDING

Gazing deep inside a heart,

Find the reason at the start.

Some are cold; some filled with pain.

Others think only of treacherous gain.

Only think what might have been,

If someone kind had reached in

To help to calm the inner child,

Keep his mind from going wild.

Helped the man to understand,

A ray of hope, a helping hand.

Helped him to use his skills of dread,

Use them, for good instead.
