Sora's P.O.V
I ran down the hallway of the castle that never was. Goofy and Donald are hot on my trails. Finally I found a sign of Riku, my long lost best friend. Two years ago, he disappeared and since then, many things happened. I slept for a whole year because my memories were scattered, I broke up with Kairi, but I'm still friend with her and most of all : I set Roxas free. My poor Nobody was broken when he was torn apart from his partner and lover, Axel. I don't blame him; I'm attached to Riku as much as Roxas is to Axel.
Anyway, I continued running down the hallway and stopped at a door. The illusion of Roxas stood there with a sad smile.
"Roxas? What are you doing here? Why aren't you with Axel?"
"Sora, he died. At least I want to help you find the one you love." He sadly replied.
I was shocked, Axel is dead? Poor Roxas.. but.. wait what? "I don't love Riku!" I nearly yelled, thought I turned red. Roxas shook his head and went through the door. I followed him, but the only one I saw, despite Roxas, was Ansem.
I looked questionably at him, but he only nodded towards him. I blinked and stood still. Suddenly something happened I didn't expect : King Mickey came to him and took his hand. Ansem looked down and sighed. Ansem put a blindfold on and then…
"Riku?" I let out a breath I didn't know I held. Riku turned sharply around. He was here. Riku was alive. I fell to my knees, feeling the tears run freely. "It's Riku, Riku's here. He is alive.." a sob escaped me and I supported my weight with my arms, because even my knees gave out.
"Sora…" he whispered. His voice is like I remembered, only deeper and with some emotion I can't describe. I looked up and saw his face only inches away from mine. My self control and my cool forgotten; I hugged him and cried on his shoulder.
"You came for me." Of course you dumbass, I love you!
He rubbed my back. I saw Roxas disappearing through my tears; he looked sad.
"C'mon Sora, you got to pull yourself together." I looked at his face, I missed him.. so much..
Once I calmed down, we stood. Then something happened I never thought would happen : He kissed me. My eyes widened, but why fighting? This is what I wanted all the time. I kissed him back with all the passion I held for him. Too soon he broke the kiss and smiled. He took my hands in his and kissed every finger.
"Thank you, Sora." Before I could ask what for, he disappeared into light.
"Riku! No!" I screamed, but his remaining were gone. I once again fell to my knees and cried, hard.
I know I need to return to Destiny Island, but it still freaking hurts, he is gone, forever.
But I know, he is still alive. He is somewhere in one of this thousand worlds – waiting for me.
