Credit to NikaBlackwater for inspiration and permission to make a spinoff of their story "Regrets"
We begin with Judy Hopps sobbing uncontrollably. She says "It was all my fault, all my goddamn fault!". She says this to herself several times over she began thinking to herself.
"Why, why did he kill himself?", she remembered what he said in the police station all those nights ago. "Oh my god why didn't I just pretend to not hear him", "Why?". She called the station and asked for time off to try and recover, the Chief allowed her to take off all the time she needed. She went to the cemetery to visit his grave, she hated herself even more regretting not going to his funeral. Then she saw someone a few rows up, a rabbit just like her chestnut brown wearing a bomber jacket. Then she heard the person say "Hey dad its me, I've just come to visit for a little sooo how is mom doing? If you're wondering I'm still taking care of the cabin you know I won't let you down, but I've got something I need to do so good bye.". Then she saw him put down an assortment of flowers and then walked away.
She looked back at Nick's grave and heard a motorcycle engine start up and heard it moving away. Then she said to Nick's grave "Why did you do it you dumb fox? Why?". She then started crying trying not to think about him and how it was her fault or so she believed.
Meanwhile the rabbit who was wearing the bomber jacket, Isaac was remembering his father and how much he missed him. He was on his way to his father's cabin. He began wondering "Who the hell was that at the cemetery? Ohhh shit that was Officer Hopps, yeah her partner Nick I think it was killed himself. From the looks of it she seemed to already be on the stage of depression and the way she cried, shes become suicidal I can just feel it."
Judy walked into the police station and Clawhauser was surprised to see her, Clawhauser asked "Are you alright? No one saw you at the funeral you had everyone worried! But is there anything you need?", Judy replied "Actually yes I do can you do a search of all chestnut brown rabbits or bunnies for me?", Clawhauser said "Sure! Just hold on a few seconds." A moment later he said "The only chestnut brown rabbit is Isaac Gaster lives in Tundratown in the first apartment complex on the main street in room 444. Is there any-". But Judy was already out of the door.
Isaac walked into his apartment and threw his keys up onto the little shelf he has next to the door, he pulled out his phone and began playing his music while lying in his hammock. He began to feel the loneliness that he felt every night he began singing along to music when suddenly he heard a knock on the door. He was surprised to see Judy standing in the doorway, she asks "Hello Isaac may I please come in?", to which Isaac replies "Why yes please do come in make yourself at home! But first how did you find me?". "Well the police do have a records system they can access anytime." she said "But why waste your time on someone who is just another face in the crowd? If I did something illegal please tell me otherwise there must be something you need from me.", Judy noticed a distinct change in Isaac's tone of voice maybe as if he was flirting.
