The pain of his lost seemed a lot for him to bear. One look at him and you could tell he was beating himself up on the inside. He would just sit there on the prison's floor, with his head hanging between his legs. She thought a couple of times to sit beside him, but decided against it. She would just walk, back and forth, in front of the bars.

She finally stopped pacing and stared at her friend. He looked so isolated, she felt sad.

"Quincy," she muttered under her breath.

He didn't react. She really didn't want to raise her voice, less not to get the guard's attention.

"Quincy!" she snapped quietly, kicking his leg.

He instantly raised his head, though greeted her with angry expression.

"What is it Arial?" he snapped back.

He was a bit louder in his response. So much so, Ariel worried about the guard hearing. She pressed her face to the bars and tried to look down the hallway. The guard was still in his original position, leaning against the wall to the door. Ariel sighed and sat beside her friend on the floor.

"I have an escape plan," she whispered.

Quincy looked at her and soon shook his head.

"No," he simply said.

Ariel couldn't believe her ears.

"What do you mean, 'no'?" she asked.

"I mean, I am not escaping," said Quincy. "This is our first time in prison and we didn't have a big offense. They will release us."

Ariel shook her head and glared at him.

"What happened to my friend who was a risk-taker like me?" she asked.

"Please don't," Quincy pleaded.

Ariel stood up and walked to the bars.

"Time to start the plan-" she started.

But soon the boat they were imprisoned on shook. This startled Ariel, who fell back onto Quincy.

"You okay?" he asked.

He held on to her as the shaking finally came to a stop.

"Looks like there is a new plan. One with a distraction," she said, looking back at him with a smile.

So this is my second SYOC. This will be focused on Ariel, Quincy, and other pirates and their adventures and interactions. Along with old and new characters, there are old and new worlds. I wish to continue this story, though I need OC's to do it. So below are the rules, which I highly suggest you read. The form is on the top my profile. Each form will be labeled with the appropriate story, as to not get them mixed up.

*If you like this story, check out my other story, Wars Amongst Us, found on my profile.*
