Disclaimer: I own nothing.

Distant Moments

Falling from such a great height,

It's hard to imagine landing.

But I can't deny that I'm scared,

Of having to meet the end so soon,

So quickly, that it's unimaginable.

Time speeds ahead, to where nothing exists,

And only the clouds hide what rebels.

But yet, I can control all that happens inside my mind.

Memories of past years are harbored, never leaving dock.

I take advantage, collecting all that was lost.

In the distance, beyond all I can see,

Is you, crying aloud, screaming something indecipherable.

Fading away, a new horizon approaches, and with it, is night.

Forever lost from humanity, as darkness closes in.

One last glimpse of you, grasping, clawing the empty air,

Before it descends among nothingness.

And the veil sways, fluttering with an invisible breeze.

Author's Note: Bit of an abstract piece, I know. But I was just randomly writing things after I had finished my English exam, and came up with this. I decided I could turn it into a poem describing Sirius's death. Overdone, but oh well.
