Freddy's Friends

I found this poem I had written sometime shortly after the release of Five Nights at Freddy's 3. I do not entirely remember writing it, but upon re-reading it, I felt it was decent, so... I'm not one hundred percent sure who the narrator is (I have a couple of guesses), but I think it speaks for itself rather well. Without further adieu, please enjoy.

-My dear friends, where have you gone?

I only want to see you,

is that so wrong?

Where are the ones

who were friends with me?

Where are my friends,

please where are they?

Please, come back to me,

my long lost friends.

-My suit is just a suit,

I never meant for you to feel

the things that you felt,

the things that you caused,

the things that you lost.

---

-Now, as I see you,

you are perfect,

not broken toys,

you are perfect,

friends who are friends.

---

-The things that were done,

can you forgive me?

Can you forgive me

for the pains that I caused?

The pains that we shared?

---

-You are not innocent

not anymore,

you have given up life

and have long since changed

into creatures not human

things that will never be,

you are no longer

capable of being free.

-But we are friends,

that we are friends,

friends until the end,

friends until the end.

-Follow me, friends,

put on your suit,

join us, friends,

and join the band.

-Who will you be?

Which suit will you wear"?

Are you Bonnie the bunny?

Or Freddy the Bear?

Maybe you're neither,

maybe you're not,

but then, neither am I,

we're alike in that regard.

-We are friends,

you and I,

we are friends,

can't you see?

Please join us forever,

join our sweet eternity.

-My friends would all love you,

my friends who gave their life,

my friends would all love you,

just put on a suit and step inside.

-I'm not a killer,

nor am I afraid,

don't be frightened,

they only asked to stay.

-Thank you for staying,

you love it here with us,

now that you see me,

now you can see them,

and they'll love you forever,

for they are your new friends.

-Nothing can change

the way that we live,

nothing can change

who we have become,

not you or them,

or anybody,

can free us from this place

we chose to stay here,

it's our rightful place,

alone with our friends,

where we belong.

in that place that you left,

where no one was your friend.

this is where we'll stay,

until the very end,

this is your home.
