AN: Hey guys! Uh...I got lost after I started writing this. It's a crack!fic if you hadn't guessed already.
You know I don't own anything.
Fornell was at his desk, touching his computer; going through his drawers, cradling his gun. His fingers traced over the soft leather of the holster, felt the imprints of his initials. He stuck his hand further into the drawer, hoping to grasp Gibbs' cell phone while he fished around. After a minute of no luck, Fornell decided it would be best to stick his head in the drawer. Hopping out of the desk chair, he knelt on the ground next to the drawer. He fished around momentarily in his pocket for a flashlight.
Upon finding it, he stuck it, along with his head, into the drawer.
"Come on Gibbs, you told me it was in here somewhere." The flashlight flicked around the interior of the drawer, shining on folders, papers, manila dividers; but no phone. A pair of combat boots appeared beside Gibbs' desk. Abby's pigtails skimmed Fornell's arm support on the desk while she bent over to investigate.
"What'd he forget this time, Fornell?" Fornell smirked within the confines of the drawer. Abby heard a mutter of 'cell phone' from him, whipping out her own and pressing speed dial. The dial tone sounded for a few seconds, and then someone picked up.
"Yeah, Gibbs."
Gibbs?
"Huh? Wait, Gibbs, you have your phone?" Abby was confused.
"Yeah, Abbs, why wouldn't I?"
"Fornell's looking through your desk for your cell."
There was a long pause, then Gibbs hung up. Abby turned back to Fornell, who had stood up and closed the drawer, and was now leaning against the divider behind him, arms crossed.
"Fornell-" Abby began, obviously puzzled. He cut her off with a shrug.
"I have no idea, Abs. He's told me nothing." Mumbling into his palm, Fornell looked straight through Abby, directly at the wall.
"Typical Gibbs." Abby sighed. She bid farewell to Fornell, and made her way quickly to the elevator. As soon as the silver doors concealed her within the cubicle, Abby flopped to the ground. Something was definitely wrong.
Please review! :) Tell me if I should continue...or not.
