Loss of Honor in One Short Death

Summary: She loses her honor, with the quick murder she herself did not commit.

The sky was dark. The full moon seemed to only illuminate a small area, leaving the rest cold and darker than it appeared to be. The shadowy figures set against the iridescent light began blurring in her eyes as a tear grew within her teal eyes. She chewed on the corner of her upper lip, it was an action meaning she was nervous. Or even afraid, although she would never admit her fear of any sort, not when her younger brother feared absolutely nothing.

Well, one could say he was afraid of loving, even though he wanted it, but that was a different kind of fear.

Her left hand went to brush through her spiky, blonde hair. Her long, pale fingers brushed through her locks that nestled softly around her shoulders. Never did she wear her hair down, until nighttime when she was released from the insecurities of not being pretty enough to suit a man of worth.

She had watched him move, his body mangled and disfigured from the slightly formed demon he was. Although so far away, she could sense his saliva tingling with the need for blood. And it scared her, that she was related to this monster of a being. In some ways she pitied her brother deeply, but she never came close into telling him she did so, always in fear that her life might be easily taken away by his wrath. Unable to watch the scene, she shut her eyes, only to be disturbed by a painful scream from the victim as her demon brother devoured him.

She looked down at the ground of their small balcony that had been accommodated with their apartment. Her hands clutched the front of her kimono, and she forced herself to stare at the hard concrete. Embarrassed and sympathetic, she turned away from the moon. She could not face its innocent honor that she no longer had.

Note: I know its short, but it's one of those stories where you like get this real good inspiration and sometimes it just doesn't come out the way you wanted it. Yeah, that's kind of how I feel about this one, but it's okay. Do you guys understand the title. It must be pretty obvious, I hope.

Thanks to Blue-Eclipse! Hey, thanks for the review. I guess I forgot to say that I didn't write my Temari story to make Gaara look bad. If any of you take it that way, then I hope you read this because Gaara is a sincere individual who has been condemned without his say. He has every right to be troubled by his past, and Temari does have every right to see him in that way. We know she cares for him, but she also holds a hidden fear and sympathy for him. After some incidents in life, I have began to live life seeing through other's eyes. At this point, Gaara was a neurotic child with a past full of hate, and through my eyes since I can see what is actually going on, I feel bad for him. However, that does not change the view of what Temari may think. So please be considerate and understand that she may see something, as in her brother during theChuunin Exams, different from what we see. Thanks again to Blue-Eclipse for reminding me of this thought.
