I remember the day I fell in love with her. We were sitting in the Common room, thinking of what jobs we should choose. It was October 6th year, and she could not choose between professor and to work in the department of magical beasts. She sat there and just debated with Ron about him saying that he thought Auror was way better a choice than any of hers. It was then that I decided to become a teacher, and to ask Hermione out.

Of course I didn't ask her out till December, we'd had another ball. I had asked Hermione, Ron asked Luna. At the ball we danced the majority of the night. When we got back to the Common Room, I asked her to be my girlfriend. She had said yes. That night I was soo happy. I didn't have nightmares nightly after that.

That Thursday was the first time I really enjoyed a kiss. It was in the room of requirement. We would all come and hang out there because Luna couldn't go into the Gryffindor common room. We were sitting by a fire, talking with everyone. We were on the floor leaning against the front of the chair. Ron and Luna sat on the couch, Ginny and Neville were in the chair. All the sudden, Hermione turned around and, kissed me. That moment is what drives me with some of my patronesses.

A year later we found out about this battle, that was 8 months ago. We spent 6 months preparing, She helped us all learn the new spells. We taught the DA together, side by side. Without her we would have lost the war.

"Harry, I'm sorry but without that last spell we would have lost. He would have beat you. I have no idea it would drain that much power though."
