THE DEFINITION OF LOVE (A KARNEVAL FANFIC)
PAIRING(S) GAREKI X NAI, YOGI X TSUKUMO
RATING: E - EVERYONE
"Gareki, what does love feel like?" A curious Nai asked one day, stiring the dark haired teen out of his book. Gareki was at a loss for words for a moment.
"Why'd you ask?" He asked, his voice losing its gruff tone slightly.
"I keep seeing movies and books, two people always kiss and hold each other, and then they say 'I love you.'" Nai seemed really confused by all of this.
They were the only two in the room besides Tsukumo and Yogi off in the distance talking, and lost in their own little world.
Gareki surpressed a smirk at them, the sight before him..as much as he'd hate to admit it, was rather adorable.
Yogi sat in a chair with Tsukumo in his lap, her cheek rested against his chest as he played lazily with her blonde hair, they seemed to be having a conversation, but Gareki couldn't hear what was being said.
Gareki returned his attention back to Nai.
"Well, I..I I've never really been in love, at least I don't think so." Nai nodded, as if urging him on.
"But I've heard things. Supossidly your chest tightens and you feel as though you're walking on air. You hate seeing them sad, and only want them to be happy..even if it means you can't be with them.." Gareki felt a small and unwanted pain inside his heart at the last statement.
Nai nodded in understanding.
"Like, Yogi and Tsukumo? Do they feel that way?" He asked. Gareki nodded.
"I would imagine."
Nai smiled sweetly for a moment before walking over to Gareki, and placing his lips gently and innocently against Gareki's cheek.
"I love you, Gareki." He said as he pulled away, both boys had a shade of red covering their faces as they looked at one another.
And to make matters worse, Tsukumo and Yogi were no longer sitting in their chair together, but now in front of them, holding hands.
Tsukumo's face was emotionless while Yogi's had a bright grin spread across.
"Aww, that was so cute!" He exclaimed happily.
Gareki growled at the blonde haired man and lunged at him.
Yogi had never ran so fast in his life.
