I Accept

"I can make it all go away. We can work out it together?" I pleaded and stared into the intense blue eyes infront of me. A thousand unsaid things coming to mind. "Please stop this." I had missed him so much in the past years, I couldn't be the last one. I couldn't be alone. Sure I always had my companions but it wasn't the same. No one knew what it was like to be the last of their kind. The Master looked vulnerable; like nothing I had ever seen before. His eyes watered slightly as he tried to make sure I wasn't lying.

"You promise?" He asked searching for comfort in the my eyes.

"Yes. You could be so beautiful, without all this." I nodded keeping my eyes locked on his, proving my sincerity. "You are beautiful. Let him go." My eyes darted to the older man's and I smiled warmly.

"O-Okay." The Master stuttered and nodded to a guard to set him free. He swallowed and I watched him calmly as he stepped closer to the chair that I was tied to.

The door opened and closed behind the guard who had taken the other prisoner away. The Master unclasped the straps surrounding my head, freeing my neck, and leaned over him. If my hands were untied I would have brought the Master's lips down to my own and kissed him possessively; but the Master just hovered there; our breath mingling together. Slowly he unclasped the tie behind my back by wrapping both arms around my torso to reach to the buckle making us closer together than we had been since he had died. His eyes locked on mine as he untied my left hand, I reached out and pressed his lips onto mine and kissed him passionately and skilfully, running my tongue over the Master's lips, begging for entry.

"Doctor." He whispered opening his mouth to let me explore.

"You don't know how long I have wanted to do that. How long I've missed you. Don't leave me please." All the emotions that built up inside me, burst free. This was what I needed, this was all I needed. I wanted someone who could spend forever with me and not get bored. Someone who I had grown up with and knew as much as I did about the universe and all the dangers that lie in it."You don't need to do this. We can find a way to make the drum beat stop."

I felt his hand join mine.
