So I decided to write a new story, this one is based off my favorite film of all time, "Some Kind of Wonderful." Finchel style and a dash of my own style, of course! I highly recommend this 1987 John Hughes movie, if you haven't watched it already. Anyway I hope you enjoy this story. Happy Reading!

Prologue
Rachel Berry decided by the age of 11 that she and her dreams were too big for the small town of Lima, Ohio. All she needed is herself, her talent, and of course, her best friend since childhood, Finn Hudson. She is meant to be a star.
Of course, her being an ambitious, confident, and outgoing person is marked as unusual and weird at William McKinley High School. So on the first day of Freshman year, she was labeled as the resident freak. But she could care less, she always held her head high and never let anybody get the best of her. She is talented young woman with a bright future and she had the support of her best friend, but there is a small problem with that though.
Rachel has been in love with Finn since freshman year, and they're seniors right now. Of course, she doesn't have the guts to tell him. She's afraid of ruining their friendship, she's afraid of unrequited love. It's sad, her one weak spot, is her own best friend. Finn had always been there for her. When her dad passed away 6 years ago in a car accident, he held her hand and helped her get through it. When her other father started to develop drinking problems and became too unpleasant to be around most of the time, he was the strong, loving arms she sought comfort in. He was her rock, her support, her knight in shining armor. And she knows, it's so cliché but she knows it's the honest truth. She was so thankful for having Finn Hudson in her life, she doesn't know where she would be without him. That's why she would never, ever risk their friendship for anything in the world. It's hard and painful not telling the one you love, you love them, but she knows it is for the best. And of course, they do say I love you, but she knows it's not the, "I'm in love with you" way. It's purely just their loving friendship way.
And Everything seemed perfect for Rachel Berry, she is starting her senior year with her best friend, she's going to do her best in school, and get ready for her wonderful future in New York. And who knows? Maybe something could happen between her and Finn, something amazing. Senior year seemed like it was going to be perfect for Rachel Berry until Quinn Fabray and Jesse St. James stepped into her and Finn's lives.
Hope you enjoyed! I'll update soon. Please review, I only update based on reviews. So if you like this and want to see more, please review! Thank you, have an amazing day.
