How Do I Reach You

Sherman ends up cutting and in a major depression, how will his genius father react and give him the one thing he has always wanted?

The bathroom light was on when Mr. Peabody went to check on his son. He never expected to find the sight that was upon him when he reached that bathroom door.

"Sher…." He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw his son on the floor, blood dripping like the Red Sea from his arms.

"Dad…" the weak broken child, said it in a voice that sounded so dark and in pain. Peabody dropped to the floor, and took his son in his arms. He had read up on humans going through this phase of life. Fifteen percent of teens that were male went through this kind of thing. He just sat on the floor, letting his son cry.

"It will be alright, OK, we will get through this together.. I promise, I will get you through this, oh God my poor boy…"

"Cuttting,"

"Yes, Floyd, he is cutting. I need you to see him as soon as possible, this needs addressing."

"OK, I'll see him tomorrow after school. I want you there too,"

"Why?"

"So he can't lie his way out of it, they do that at this age, it's hard to speak about problems in one's mind."

"If you insist,"

"Peabody,"

"Yes,"

"Lock up all the knives and cut his food for him," Mr. Peabody sighed, he had to baby proof the penthouse treating Sherman like a toddler again. It was degrading to the boy.
