"I am finding out that maybe I was wrong

Nessa's eyes are sad and pleading. She looks up at Boq, trying to get him to understand how in love with him she is.

"Stay with me," she whispers.

Boq's only reply is "I can't."

"Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend

Somewhere along in the bitterness

And I would have stayed up with you all night

For six days and six nights, Nessa cries and doesn't stop. On the seventh day, Nessa decides to stop crying and actually do something.

She prepares to find Boq.

"Lost and insecure

It takes her two weeks, but she finds Boq. His eyes are wide with shock, and he says in a voice no louder than a whisper "You found me."

"I found you," Nessa responds. She smiles a timid smile at him.

Boq starts to smile, but quickly hides it.

"You love me but you don't know who I am

I'm torn between this life I lead and where I stand

And you love me but you don't know who I am

"You…you can't just leave me like that," Nessa insists. "I need you."

"I know," Boq says. "But…you need to let me go."

"I'm looking at you through the glass

Don't know how much time has passed

And all I know is that it feels like forever

"Will we ever see each other again?" Nessa asks.

"I…I don't know," Boq admits. "Maybe, maybe not. You're…you're going to do great things, Nessa. I just know it."

"And you will, too," Nessa says. "I just wish you didn't have to leave…"

"I have to go." Boq looks over his shoulder, then at Nessa and back again before planting a kiss on Nessa's lips.

Nessa waits until he's gone before whispering "Goodbye, Boq."

(A/N: I don't know why I was thinking about this, and I guess it doesn't really matter, but isn't Boq older than Nessa? Or maybe he isn't. I don't know. Reviews are love!)
