Spock looked around the park he stood in. Millennium Park. This was his first trip to Chicago. He had accompanied Jim on shore leave here. He watched Jim come across the park with two bowls in hand.

"Hungry?" Jim asked handing Spock a bowl. "It's a Banana split." Jim said smiling. Spock studied the contents of the bowl. It smelled sweet. He gingerly took one small taste. It was cold. Spock took another, larger portion this time. It was surprisingly good.

"Isn't it beautiful here Spock?" Jim said looking around Millennium Park. "This city...is amazing!" Jim smiled at Spock; he ate another spoonful of his ice cream.

"Indeed, Jim. This city has many interesting features. Including this..." Spock said indicating his bowl.

"Banana split." Jim reminded him. "It is good. I haven't had one since I was a boy. My parents took me here... years ago." He looked around, grinning. "I'm glad we decided to take shore leave here."

"It has been most intriguing." Spock nodded.

Jim looked up to face Spock. He grinned and started to laugh, choking on his ice cream.

"Are you alright, Jim?" Spock asked looking at his t'hy'la with concern.

Jim coughed once more and pointed at Spock. "You've got whipped cream all over your mouth," he laughed. "Here, let me help." He leaned over and kissed Spock, gently.

Spock's eyebrow shot up. "Is this the normal custom here when such a situation arises?"

"It's been done before." Jim smiled, taking another bite.

Spock studied him. Jim had a small dab of whipped cream on his lip. Spock leaned over and kissed Jim.

Jim looked up, surprised. "Well, I wasn't expecting that."

"You had whipped cream on your lip." Spock answered.

"Do that again," Jim, said with a gleam in his eyes.

"You do not have whipped cream on your lip," Spock replied.

"Okay, fine, don't." Jim said looking down into his bowl, a bit disappointed. Spock moved closer to him and gently placed his lips on Jim's.

Jim looked up and smiled. "I didn't have whipped cream on my lip," he said.

"No, but I did." Spock said.

Jim laughed and took Spock by the arm. "Come on, I'm still hungry," he said, heading back to the Ice Cream stand.
