Chapter Three-Sparks
Most of us are just plain normal. But that is just the sad truth. Not all of us want or can be the next Einstein or Alien...
I felt a beating in my chest and some strange invisible air move into my lungs. My eyes began twitching and my mouth began to feel the urge to speak in this foreign language. My strange new senses where unbearable and irresistible. I obeyed my eyes, and mouth and opened my eyes to Earth. It was all so luminous. So perfect and stable. A gasp came upon me as the colors and textures started to come into view. There was a window beside my bed and a large mirror at the end. I closed my eyes when the door opened.
At that moment there was a fuzzy image of a building. No, an apartment. And there was a girl waving on her balcony. The image was pushed away and replaced with another image. This image had seven people all dressed in black except for one, who was discolored. They looked like a fish was looking upon them, what they would look like to him. All rounded to fit a certain space. There was no peripheral vision, only direct.
In the back of my head there was a voice, a whisper almost. It got louder and louder, and louder until it felt like she was right next to me yelling, "What are you doing inside of me, LEAVE!". I had no idea what she was or where she came from. She presented me with a disturbing image of a door flying off the hinges and landing on a lady, maybe her... But that was beside the point. Then there was pain, a sharp pain in both of my legs. I let out a throat scratching shriek and jerked a little, trying to get the imaginary door to disappear. When the door was gone, there was a vision of the people from the fish's eye dragging me by the wrists, and then a black out. I immediatly oopened my eyes, afraid to see another vision or feel the pain they generate.
