My second short story, whoot! -Dances- thank you soo much for the reviews on the last one! Ok, so this story isn't exactly what you would call a "romantic" story, I'm not very good at writing romance stories. Please no flames, and I did not make avatar the last airbender or any of the characters
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a cool summer's night. The moon shone over Ba Sing Se, making even the murkiest waters look crystal clear. Jin was sitting under a tree with a chrysanthemum in her hand, picking the pedals off of it.
"He loves me, he loves me not." She whispered to herself. "He loves me…. he loves me…not! Ugh!" She cried as she picked the last pedal off from the flower, and then threw the stem on the ground. She walked away, a bit disappointed.
(Next morning)
The sun was shining high above. The children screamed with laughter as they ran around playing. The wind blew threw Jin's hair as she was picking flowers. She picked about three and ran to the teashop near her. She walked in, with two light green ribbons tied up into bows on her braids. She saw Zuko and sat at a bench nearby. He seemed a bit busy. As he turned his head, she held the flowers in front of his face.
"H-Here," She said shyly.
Zuko took them, then sniffed them a bit.
"Thanks," He said softly, putting the flowers in a pot filled with water.
Jin frowned a bit, then smiled as she looked at him again.
"I was wondering," She began, "if you'd like to come over to my house tonight?"
Zuko looked at Jin a bit, then nodded. "Alright," He replied.
Jin drew a wide grin. She then got up from her seat and walked out of the stoor.
"Bye!" She called, waving. She then walked away.
"Bye," He replied, waving back sheepishly.
(That night)
Zuko was walking towards Jin's house. He came upon her outside. Her legs were dangling from a cliff as she was picking pedals off of a chrysanthemum. She was singing a song to herself. Zuko heard the words "love does not die out, it lasts forever" in the song. He smiled and walked up to her, putting his hand on her shoulder. She jumped up, startled, then she looked up at him.
"Oh…I-I didn't know you were here." She responded, catching her breath.
Zuko sat down next to her. "Sorry if I startled you," He replied.
Jin nodded, as she put the flower down, "It's alright," She whispered.
Before she said another word, Zuko's lips were on her's. She widened her eyes, then closed them as she returned the kiss.
(Later that night)
Jin sat under the tree again, a different flower in her hand. She picked the pedals off of the flower.
"He loves me not…he loves me," She whispered as she picked the last pedal of the flower. She then smiled, closing her eyes, remembering the day she just had. It was a day she'd never forget.
The end of the story, yo! Told ya I'm not that good xD If you review this I'd appreciate some ideas or opinions :D thanks!
