Author Note: This is a poem based on the new book series that has started a craze for most people...The Hunger Games...Yes, I have become obessed myself to the point I've already done I fanfic poem about the "star crossed lovers" hahaha

Forever

That is it. There is no more. There is no one
We did it, don't ask me how but we did.
The past few days have been a blurr.
Everyone morphing together, their faces mixed as one.
It is hard to distinguish who is the one I will miss the most

No wait, I know who...
Rue.

Poor little Rue, the girl who reminded me so much about my own sister.
The one who was picked to be here in stead of me.
The one who was condemened to the depths of hell,
My little sister Prim.
Her face stands out for me, her sweet, large, innocent eyes.
Her short curled brown hair, Her pouty lips and silent steps.
Her face is vivid in my mind, I'm sure I will never be able to forget it.

Her dying breath wisps across my face like a cool breeze,
The song I sang is still echoing in my head.
My silent three finger salute will make the people know, the districts know
how a single act of kindness could sprial the world into chaos.

That of course is just the beginning.
When I say there is no one I'm not telling the complete truth.
There is someone, the one person who will make this a games to remember...
Peeta.

The man whoes words could lead the people
The same words that could melt my heart.
My actions mights speak volumes to those in the Captiol, but Peeta's words are like thunder.
The two of us together could end this
The berries were just the start.

He is the one person I want to hold onto
The one person I never want to let go of
Not now, not ever
He will be mine...forever.

Tell me what you think...it's okay, I know I'm a little rust in poetry but I thought this summerized the first book pretty nice...sorry if it spoiled anything for anyone reading :)
