A/N: This is just a one-shot I wrote one day when I was on the bus and bored. I decided to post it. So, I hope you like it. It takes place during Allegiant. Disclaimer: I don't own Divergent, just saying.

TRIS

The cold wind bites my nose as I stand outside the Bureau. Meh. I hate it here. Here, the place that wants to steal the memories of my city. Disgust sinks into my brain. This is the first time I've been outside since my visit to the Fringe. Tobias told me Evelyn would be going outside the fence today. She's looking for Marcus, to jail him for working with the Allegiant. My job's to capture her.

I see Amar's Jeep pull up in front of me. Snow begins to fall. I climb into the car, which is unreasonably hot. Beads of sweat form on my just-cold head. Ten minutes pass, and I find myself in the snow covered land outside the city. I can see Evelyn's car across the valley.

I climb out. Evelyn can see me now. She runs over to me. I run back over to her, chasing her. She turns around, and sprints, her face countoured with scared. We run for a while, me chasing her. It seems almost boring to me. I've been through much harder missions. I almost trip over a tall mound of snow. Evelyn grins, she thinks she can get away. But I get up, and persist on.

I get an idea. I can use the snow as my friend, not my enemy. I reach down and pick up a large mound of crystal snow. I'm not wearing gloves. My hands numb, and wrinkle up from the cold. I mold the mound into a round ball. I aim at Evelyn, and launch. It hits Evelyn in the back of the head. She stumbles. I grab another mound and roll it into a ball. I throw, and it hits Evelyn again. This time she falls. I'm so close to capturing her. I know I'll suceed this mission. I'm only two feet away from Evelyn, who is sprawled out on the ground. I trip, and my surroundings turn black.

I wake up in Amar's Jeep. They tell me Evelyn got away. My head aches. In my hands I feel a bag of heat. Some Bureau invention, I guess. The edge of my vision is black. I feel dizzy. I hit my head hard on the icy grass when I fell. I probably have a concussion. My head feels tired, so I lay down on my seat. My head drifts into deep sleep.

THE END
