A/N this was the first story that I wrote down, but I forgot about it and you will probably think it sucks, but I thought it would be important to post my REAL first story.

A gentle I love you

They were sitting, watching the sunset. It was their first time alone since their parent's fight. Scorpius and Rose had finally gotten up the nerve to tell their parents about their relationship, and their parents exploded!

ranted on and on about how Rose's mother was a mud-blood b**** and had punched him in the nose when they were kids. And about how Ron Weasley was his sworn enemy, worse then Harry Potter. , who was very infuriated with his daughter for even speaking to a Malfoy, yelled about how Draco's father (not to mention Draco) trying to kill him and his friends countless times. was surprisingly mute. Rose would have gussed that she would be saying things like," he's too much like his father, hun," or," don't speak to him ever again, your uncle hates his father VERY badly, and you know how Harry can be."

There was no , she had died many years before.

The last time Rose and Scorpius had brought up the subject of this akward fight, it ended with Rose running out of the train compartment in tears, and Albus almost punching his roommate. But now they knew better and just sat.

Finally, the sun set and the starlit sky came above them.

They just sat.

It felt like forever until Scorpius said," we have to talk about this sometime, love." With this he wrapped his arms around her body and pulled her close. This was the affectionate thing he always did to make her cheer up and talk about her problems.

It wouldn't work this time.

She just turned a little in his arms and looked him in his eyes. He understood, she didn't wanto talk about it.

So, he scooped her up and took her back to her room, leaving with a sot kiss on the forhead and a gentle "I love you."
