It was unnerving to be standing on a stained glass image of yourself—immortalized in a way that Sora never felt should be applied to him. Yet…here he was, feet planted near the large, stained-glass version, looking across at Roxas.

"Haven't we been here before?" Sora joked, an easy grin on his face. They had met here before; the place that Roxas entered in his dreams and drew Sora into occasionally. "Last time I remember you were trying to kick my ass over Riku choosing me."

Roxas snorted and thrust his hands into his robes—Sora, for once, was mirroring Roxas's outfits instead of the other way around. "Hmph." He shrugged and sat down easily in the robes, every movement fluid. "I was testing you; had to see if you were a good Other."

Sora rolled his eyes. "Overdramatic, weren't you?" He sighed and copied Roxas's movements, gloved fingers tracing over the images in the glass. "I guess you were entitled to it, though—kind of a shitty way to find out about yourself."

"Yeah, I guess you could say that—" Roxas sighed and leaned back, eyes flicking over the images of Kairi, Donald, Goofy and Riku. He vaguely wondered in the future, another part of him and Sora would wander around glass stained floor and see images of him and Axel and the rest of the Organization members, or if they were meant to be a blip in history and nothing more.

Sora drew his attention back towards him. "I'm sorry." He offered. "I know it isn't much and I wish I had known about you earlier…"

"It wouldn't have changed anything. I still would have returned to where I belonged…I was searching for you before that bastard kidnapped me, you know." An annoyed scowl crossed Roxas's face. "I was going to ask you about the Keyblades; I knew you had the answers I was searching for."

Sora shook his head. "Even I'm not sure how or why we had the Keyblades." He cocked his head to the side. "I'm still not sure why the Keyblades chose us, something about the strength of the Heart."

"Then it's obvious why you were chosen. Your heart could light up the whole damn world." Roxas leaned closer. "You made me real and I'm still real because of you."

Sora mirrored Roxas's movements, both figures in black with connected shadows; a reflection of the same person. "Then don't forget you have the same heart." Sora pointed out.

Roxas's grin was more real than it had ever been in the past, even in the simulated Twilight Town with a fake personality. "Then I'll make to keep on dragging you here by our connected heart." As one movement, Sora and Roxas's hands reached out and clasped the others, fingers entwining.

"We were constantly searching for each other, Sora…"

"…and now that we found each other, we won't have to search again."
