Fiona sat the castle window rocking the baby while staring at Shrek trying to attempt professional sword fighting. For the hundredth time, Shrek fell into the mud puddle and splashed the director with mud. She chuckled while rocking the baby. For awhile, Fiona briefly remembered the five years she and Shrek had been married as ogres.

It was a bright and sunny day when Fiona went to fetch some water. She was stopped along the way by a one eyed crooked lady. "Stop Princess Fiona! There are things I must say before it is too late! Life has tolled on my dear mother, Witch Edna. She was the one who put the curse on you! My mother has sent me to invite you to her cottage to you important tricks to the curse she had put on you. Come quickly now," whispered the witch eagerly. Still haunted by memories, Fiona ignored the witch and went on her way. "You must obey my mother! She'll make the curse even worse!" whispered the witch with a threaten edge to it.
Fiona stopped short. "All right. You'll lead us to the witch's cottage. But first I need to get Shrek, my husband," said Fiona. Marriage had changed Fiona's personality and she was easily convinced now. Gathering the water bucket, Fiona rushed toward the swamp house. "Shrek! Shrek! We need to leave now!" cried out Fiona. Groggily, Shrek came out from the bedroom. "What Fiona? What were you saying dear?" asked Shrek. "Shrek, the witch's daughter has come to get me to the witch who is dying. If I don't go, she'll make the spell even worse!" whimpered Fiona.
Shrek stopped short, just like Fiona, and demanded, "Who is this lady?!". He marched out and nearly stepped the poor humble figure of the witch's daughter. "Please, sir, please understand. My mother mentioned something about reversing the spell so that Fiona can be human again!" pleaded the lady. At that, Fiona's eyes brightened. "Please Shrek, please, let us go. It is my only wish, please Shrek," begged Fiona.
Shrek was still doubting about this. "How long will it take us?" asked Shrek. "It only took me one week to reach here. It shan't take that long," said the witch's daughter. After much pleading and begging, Shrek finally agreed. Only one condition. That they stop by the pub on their way back to have three drinks.
Fiona was rather hesitant about that, for she knew that Shrek would go sleepy for one week after drinking the drinks. Then he couldn't work for the swamp for one week, and rent would go overdue. But she would do anything to become humane again.
"Fine, Shrek, I agree," muttered Fiona. Shrek smiled slyly, knowing that he could at last get some of the fine tasting drinks. "All right! Let's go!" cried out Shrek. Quickly, they packed few items and left.
