Hi guys, new story. It's a cross-over between Gotham/Sherlock but I'll add it to Gotham only first and later to cross-over. Mainly because it's also some short of a sequel to, Thing's I'm not allowed to do at Wayne Manor so the chapters will, just like that story, full with rules Selina isn't allowed to do, starting from chapter 2. This story will be an introduction/explanation why Alfred takes them to London.
English isn't my first language, spell and grammar mistakes will be fixed once I found a beta reader;D
I will still update; Things I'm not allowed to do at Wayne Manor because I have a lot more chapters written of that story:D Enjoy reading this one:D
Chapter 1: Introduction
Selina, running with toilet paper through the Manor, leaving an entire trail paper behind along the way up into the study were she plops down into the couch. Totally exhausted. Bruce, eating his breakfast, quirks an eyebrow, looking at the trail of toilet paper. Don't ask Bruce thinks to himself, looking back at Selina, finishing his breakfast.
Right on cue, followed the toilet paper trail, Alfred walks inside and looks up. His face turns soar as he sees the young girl laying in the black leather couch and the paper trail ends beside the couch.
*Sighs* "Did you leave that paper trail, Miss Kyle?" Alfred asks, already knowing the answer.
"Yes," Selina replies with a tired and bored sigh. I'm bored." Bruce coughs, almost choking in his juice when he was about to laugh about her comment.
Alfred walks over to him and starts patting him on the back, his eyes locked on Selina. "Well, since you're bored, maybe you can help me with doing things around the house, starting with clean up that toilet paper."
*stink eye* "Relax old man." Right on cue, she sits up and jumps off the couch, walking over to the balcony doors. "I'm not that bored."
"Yeah, you can mind your manners as well, you cheeky little minx," Alfred says, unaware the young girl mimicked every word before walking outside.
Alfred had an idea. Maybe a change of scenery would do the kids good, so he decided to take them to London. (Also because Jim, Bullock and Nygma needed a break from babysitting Cat)
Selina sits beside Bruce in his comfy private plane, only to her it's not that comfy at all. The past ten minutes she had done nothing else then wriggling to find a way to loosen her seatbelt.
Alfred, sitting across them, grins. "No need to try, Miss Kyle. I pet locked it. Do you get 'm, PET LOCKED!" Another beaming grin toward the young girl. Selina gives him the stink eye but gives up trying to free herself. But only to let the old man think he had won.
And it worked. After another ten minutes, Alfred closed his eyes and rested his head on the headrest. Bruce did the same. Both males weren't aware of the smile that grows on Selina's face. Payback.
Soon as Alfred looks relaxed and almost asleep, Selina taps with her foot on the plane floor. Bruce quirks his eyebrows questionably and looks over to her. Her eyes locked on Alfred's face, which didn't changed. Maybe he hadn't heard her.
Selina quickened her tapping, louder this time and it seemed to work. Alfred opens his eyes slowly and gives Selina an aggravated stare.
"Could you please stop doing that?"
"Only if you unlock this thing," cued pointing at her seatbelt.
"No!" Alfred closes his eyes again, Selina starts tapping her foot on the floor again. Bruce smiles. Selina can be so childish sometimes but it was also funny seeing her doing things she wasn't allowed to do. "Stop doing that!" Alfred growls.
"Only if you…"
"No!" Alfred cuts the girl off.
Taptaptaptap
"Stop it!"
"Unlock…"
"No!"
Taptaptaptap
"Stop it!"
"Unlock…"
"No!"
Tatptaptaptap
Alfred, deep sigh and looks from the emergency parachute's to the emergency door, over to Selina.
No, I can't do that. Or can I?
Alfred realized Selina would only stop tapping if he unlocked the seatbelt, so he did but he gave her also a warning look. Selina just shrugs and smiles sweetly. Alfred sits back and closes his eyes. Maybe now, he finally could get some sleep.
Not
Selina lowers down to the plane floor and crawls over to Alfred's seat. She looks up, noticing the man's face hadn't moved an inch. Definitely asleep. Slowly she ties Alfred's shoe laces together. Alfred still didn't move.
Selina crawls back up and walks across the plane, over to the cockpit. Maybe she could have some fun there, with the pilot.
"Hiya," Selina screeches gleefully and sits down beside the pilot. He just gives her a quick smile. Selina eye balls the buttons on the panel board and looks back to the pilot's face, a smile growing on her own face. "What happens if I push this button?"
The pilot quickly slaps her hand away before she could even touch the button. Selina, disappointed look, sits back in her seat.
"People call me Cat," she says after a long silence. The pilot just smiles as reply. "Do you know why they do that?" Selina moves closer toward the pilot, who in his turn looks anxious from his eye corners to the young girl. (Alfred had warned him about her) "If I get into a fight, I'll go for their eyes!"
Right on cue, Selina claws her fingers and moves them toward the pilot's face who flinches his head back, causing the plane to bump a little.
"Don't do that again!" the pilot growls, looking aggravated as the girl sits back in her seat. Satisfied grin on her face.
The bumping had woken up Alfred, who opens his eyes, spotting the empty seat beside Bruce. "Miss Kyle, where are you?" Alfred asks, scoping his eyes through the plane. Nothing.
Quickly he stands up from his seat, about to walk over to the cockpit when he suddenly falls face down onto the plane floor. He groans in pain, trying to push himself back up to see what made him trip.
"Miss Kyle!" Alfred scowls angry, realizing the young girl must have tied his shoelace's together while he slept.
"What?" Selina says as innocently as possible and with a straight face as she walks out the cockpit over to Alfred. Then, spotting Alfred on the floor, angry looking from his shoes up to her. "I didn't do that. I've been sitting with the pilot the entire time."
Selina turns around, beaming a smile over to the worried looking Bruce, shrugs and sits down in the seat beside him.
The rest of the flight, you stay there!" Alfred growls between his teeth and with an angry glare directed to the girl as he unties his laces and reties them properly. Slowly rising back to his feet and sits down in his own seat, still eyes locked on Selina.
"Lighten up," Selina says, beaming a mischievous smile toward the butler. "Maybe, we can watch The Hobbit," excitedly look pointed at Bruce who nods happily.
*closed eyes* "Sorry, told Annie to take the movie back," a small smile curls around his lips. Bruce looks disappointed.
*Mischievous smile* "Yeah, well, Annie bought me my own copy so the joke is on you, hah." Alfred opens his eyes widely, noticing the girl taking a copy of The Hobbit from her handbag.
Finally the plane lands on London airport and Alfred makes way toward the gateway, closely followed by Selina and Bruce.
One of the security dogs walks toward the three visitor's and starts sniffing at their bags, then onto them. Selina hisses rudely to the dog, trying to push him away. The dog objects.
*Eye roll* "That's great, Miss Kyle!" an tiredly sigh escapes the butler's mouth as a security guard walks up to them, ordering them to hand over their bags for searching. Selina beams a grin.
The security guard investigates Selina's, way too big and heavy looking suitcase, and finds all kinds of things that leaves question marks for him as for Alfred. Bruce however, smiles gently.
"Cat food?" the security guard asks, holding up one can of the large supply in Selina's suitcase. Selina beams a very sweet smile to the guard. "Cat… toys?"
"Please don't tell me…" Alfred is about to exclaim when he gets cut off by a female.
"Mr Pennyworth?" the woman asks as she walks upon them and holds out a form. You need to sign this form if you're agreed you pick up your cats after the quarantine period."
"Cats? I didn't bring any…," Alfred starts but stops as he sees the big green eyes in Selina's face, staring sadly at him, realizing what she has done. With a deep sigh he signs the form and they can finally leave.
Outside the airport stood John Watson, Alfred's friend, waiting for them. Alfred greets him and introduces Bruce and Selina.
Selina elbows Bruce, beaming a smile. "Is it just me, or does he look like a hobbit?"
*Alfred slaps against his forehead*
John unlocks the door of 221 Baker street, steps inside and greets Mrs. Hudson as she meets them in the hallway. Politely John introduces his friend and the two children and they keep talking for a while.
Selina, getting bored, spots the stair, reaching to another apartment above Mrs. Hudson's. Quickly, and without the others knowing it, Selina runs upstairs to take a look and notices an open apartment door.
Curiously, Selina enters the apartment, noticing it's not very big at all. She doubted Alfred or Bruce could hold out in there for long. Especially since it was messy and disorganized.
"Who are you?" A tall man with messy black curled hair walks from the kitchen, looking curiously at the young girl in front of him. He looks at her from head to toe and then smiles interested.
"People call me Cat," Selina says, placing her hands in her hips.
"Sherlock Holmes."
"I see you two have meet," a voice says behind Selina and she turns around, noticing John walking inside. Closely followed by a VERY angry looking Alfred and a VERY bright smiling Bruce. "Sherlock, this is…,"
"Yes, your friend from the military," Sherlock replies, turns around and plops down into the black leather armchair, pulling his knees up. "Though he looks more like a butler to me. Obviously trying to hide his past behind another, more submissive job."
*Slaps forehead* I'm so sorry, Alfred," John apologizes to Alfred who just nods understandably. "I told him to behave but he's like a little child sometimes." Then I whisper voice; "He's a sociopath."
"High functional sociopath," Sherlock spats. "If you're trying to insult me, get your facts straight."
"You really can't help yourself, can you?"
"I can't switch it on or off, John," Sherlock hisses between his teeth. "You really should know it by now." Cued grin.
Selina, noticing how amusing John's flatmate is and how much annoyed both Alfred and John are by his behavior, hardly can hold in a laughter.
*Selina, huge amusing smile* I think I will have a lot of fun with this guy.
*Alfred, worriedly looking* I think I really have to set up some rules before she tears this place down.
So, that was the first chapter and Selina's first encounter with Sherlock:D Let me know what you think so far and if you like to read the next chapter:D Any idea's for Sherlock&Selina, driving John&Alfred crazy and of course, Bruce/Selina moments. They are so adorable and, well, they really should get back together in show or at least, have more interaction because, though s1 had many cute scene's of them, it wasn't just enough. Well, that's what I think LOL
Anyway, fav/follow/review, would make me happy and I really like to know your thoughts about this story or your thoughts about Bruce/Selina interactions LOL
