AN: I wrote this poem when I was 12 (7th grade) and I just thought of posting it. It's not one of my best work and bear in mind that I was young!
Disclaimer: I do not own HP (Harry Potter or Hewlett-Packard, take your pick cuz I don't own either of 'em). I'm just one of the people who have access to internet (which I also don't own, unfortunately)
Reading those enchanting books
Ignoring all the awkward looks,
I've lost myself in the plot
To put it down, I shall not,
The story speaks of a magical land
Too complex for Muggles to understand,
Hidden beyond an invisible mist,
Could such a place ever exist?
Where girls have funny notions
And brew romantic love potions,
Where you get on a broomstick to catch a ball,
Quidditch, is what the game I will call,
A place where a friend never seperates,
Ron and Harry are best mates,
Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,
I'm sure the weather isn't blizzardy (AN: Stupid, I know, but it's the only thing that rhymed!)
Read Harry Potter, borrow the book,
You won't resist and you'll take a look,
You'll read the books and realize,
How it feels to live in lies
P.S. Harry Potter saves lives!
OK, lay it on me. Was it that horrible? :]
