"Penny!" Ruby exclaimed excitedly, rushing over and crushing her in a ginormous hug.
"Hi Ruby!" Penny said, smiling.
They both stood there awkwardly. Both had crushes on each other but hadn't told each other. At that moment they both blurted out at the same time, "I LIKE YOU!"
Ruby blushed and tackled Penny in another hug. Penny turned her head so that they were kissing. Ruby's eyes widened with surprise, but she melted into the long, sweet kiss.
They broke apart. "That was nice," Ruby said.
"Yeah," Penny agreed.
