Koujo Lin.
The first time he'd met her, he'd saved her from being squashed into a Mai-pancake. From there, he'd been astounded by her growing psychic powers and ability to connect with people—him included. Yes, Koujo Lin was, it was safe to say, totally in love with Mai Taniyama. It wasn't that she was pretty or powerful, which was true, but the way she acted around him. Most people were scared of Lin's quiet demeanor. But Mai, the slightly stupid person she was, hadn't shown any fear, choosing instead to smile up at Lin and continue on. Whether Mai knew it or not, she had Lin wrapped around her little finger.
Mai Taniyama.
The first time she'd met him, she had injured him. As much as she hated herself for doing that, she was secretly glad that it happened. Because if it hadn't, she would have never met Koujo Lin. And that would have been awful. Yeah, Mai knew that Monk and Ayako, and even Masako thought that she liked Naru. But no, Mai's heart was set on the quiet Chinese man who seemed to silently accept Mai and her astounding tea making skills. Whether Lin knew it or not, Mai would sacrifice her life for the man.
And whether they knew it or not, they were destined by fate to meet. To fall in love, and to cherish every waking moment together, through ill and happy, through toil and strife, until the day they would die. Yes, whether they knew it or not, Mai Taniyama and Koujo Lin had their lifelines intertwined with the strongest bond possible. Fate.
Just a little mini story. Not really a drabble, or is it, I don't know. It was random sweet, fluffy. In case you didn't get the end, it means that Lin and Mai are destined to marry. Yay! Reviews are like John Brown, sweet and awesome! Xx,
