Small talk between sisters
'I know what you have done.' Bellatrix sat down next to Narcissa. The youngest Black sister arrived back home from Hogwarts the previous night for her summer holiday.
'Good morning to you too, Bella. I'm glad to see you,' she said with a bored voice. Narcissa was reading the Daily Prophet and couldn't care less about her sister's presence. She didn't even bother to look at her. Bellatrix yanked the paper away from her sister irritably.
'Hey!'
'Oh, I'm sorry. Were you reading it?' Bella crumpled the paper and with a flick of her wand made it disappear.
'What is wrong with you?' Narcissa finally turned to her.
'Funny, I could ask the same.' Bellatrix snorted. Narcissa rolled her eyes and stood up to leave the kitchen.
'I don't have time for you. Lucius is coming over and I need to get ready.'
'I wonder whether mother would let him visit you if she learnt how you assured him he wouldn't need to worry about your loyalty to him' Bellatrix noted. She watched her little sister from the corner of her eyes, waiting for her reaction. 'You know...you are supposed to be untouched until your wedding,' she smirked. Narcissa turned back to her.
'Am I supposed to be scared of you?' but instead of giving an answer, Bellatrix just shrugged. 'Very ladylike. No wonder Rodolphus isn't interested in spending time with you.'
'Oh, you're so wrong. Who do you think told me about your little fun with Lucius?'
'Your life must be terribly boring if you have to talk about my relationship with Lucius, Bella. By the way, please stop. It is none of your business what Lucius and I do.'
'My life isn't boring. I've already done things greater than you will ever do.' Bellatrix jumped on her feet and stared at her sister with a killer gaze. Narcissa raised an eyebrow.
'Really? Well, I've done Lucius...and, trust me with this one; he is the greatest so I think I win this round. And now, if you will excuse me, I have some things to get done before he arrives,' she turned around and marched out of the room. She heard Bellatrix screaming something after her but neither did she understand nor cared about what she had to say.
