She had planned out a perfect wedding. Nothing was supposed to go wrong on such a beautiful day, right? The sun was shining, the decorations were perfect, her family put aside its differences for one day...

Until he showed up. She wondered if things would have been as bad if he had been the man she once knew. Probably not, she thought. But the facts were, that he was simply a shell of his former self. All those years at Azkaban had eaten away at him...leaving barely any semblance of him.

Ron looked completely astonished at his old enemy's arrival for a few moments, but quickly took out his wand and pointed it at the figure that was drawing closer to the pavilion. The usually painful hex, however, had hardly any effect on the intruder, who kept stumbling towards them, if somewhat wobblier than before.

Hermione stood on the pavilion, completely unable to move, out of shock. Some of the guests, however, got up quickly, and tried to restrain the former prisoner. They didn't succeed, however, for he was physically far stronger than them, and the spells they kept throwing at him had little effect.

She didn't know what exactly it was that the Dementors did to him, but whatever it was, it had made him immune to all the physical pain they could inflict on him, she realised. He had, in effect, become entirely unfeeling.

As he drew closer, she quickly understood that he was not heading for her, but for Ron. The latter quickly backed away into a pillar, wand still outstretched. The grin on the uninvited guest's face told both Ron and Hermione that he did not mean to be merciful. She ran quickly to shield Ron, but he pushed her aside easily.

Amid her screams, he twisted Ron's neck, and then dropped the latter to the floor, lifeless.

Then, he turned to her. His grey eyes were glinting with anger and a terrifying coldness. He walked closer to her, until they were mere inches apart and she was leaning against the pillar.

Then, he whispered in a voice that sent chills down his throat.

"Hermione and Draco," he said, with a hatred she didn't know he could possess. "Alone together, forever."

Notes: For the Through the Universe Challenge on TGS. Prompt: Together forever.

So the last line is a nod to Frankenstein M.D., the web series, which has the lines "Alone, together" at the end, and when I saw this prompt, I just had to use it!
