A/N : I know, I am INSANE! How many times have I updated in the last 2 days? 3 times? Ah, yes. 3 times. (smile)

So, I was watching a bit of MiSa from "Quiet Riot" and heard Michael say the "I need one more day!" line and whoosh - flashback to season 2 ep 10 when he said the exact same thing. I also dealt with Sara's helplesness and anger concerning Michael's disease -- I know I would be pretty upset if I found out my bf might die and then have him refuse to undergo surgery. So yeah. (tadaa!)

Please, please, please, tell me what you think?

"I need one more day!"

Sara Tancredi had tried to be the calm one, had tried to be his rock and not fall apart. She had tried to ignore every little part of doctor that was still left in her and screamed at her that his chances weren't good. Every inch of her clung onto faith and she tried to believe ever single whisper of hope inside of her head. But these words finally broke her.

"Michael, you ALWAYS need one more day!" She screamed at him, amazing even herself. Yet she understood where it was coming from. It had been brewing inside of her over the last few days, his obsession with Scylla endangering his own life and subsequently, hurting her. Being so damn driven to the point where it became reckless.

"Do you remember what you said to me in Gila?" She continued, the volume of her voice not lessening one bit. "You said, and I quote : 'one more day, Sara. That's all I'm asking for. ONE. MORE. DAY.' You might not HAVE one more day, Michael Scofield. So sure, if that's what you want – to get yourself killed… don't expect any sympathy from me."

She angrily grabbed her purse from the metallic table and stalked out of the building, faintly hearing Michael's 'where are you going?' vibrating in the air around her.

"I need a drink."

"Don't." His hand grabbed hers lightly, yet she found it impossible to draw her own away. His voice was just a whisper, a desperate plea for her to…understand. She wished she could. She wanted to understand why he would risk his entire future – their life together – for a device that the guys could probably get without him present.

Deep down she did. She knew how everything about the Company affected him, hurt his very soul, and how he tried to make amends by destroying it. Maybe she was selfish to act the way she was, but damn it, she didn't want to lose him. Not when they were this close together and his warmth enveloped her at night. The fact that this was even possible sometimes seemed surreal.

He spun her into his arms. Held her close to him and pressed a kiss to the side of her face. "I'm sorry." He murmured next to her ear. "I'm so sorry. I know I'm hurting you."

Slowly her hands went behind his back and clenched into his shirt. "I don't want to give you up." She said. "Don't ask me to."

He distanced himself a little, pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Do you really think I'd let something like this get us down? After all we've been through? Not a chance." He rocked her body slowly, burying himself into her shoulder. "I promise you, Sara. I really need one more day, but after that, we can have forever."

She sniffled and looked up at him with tearful eyes. "Forever sounds nice."

"It does, doesn't it?" He grinned. "Do you trust me?"

Sara nodded. "I trust you."

"So are you still mad at me?" He looked at her with irresistable puppy eyes.

She chuckled. "You're an idiot."

He answered that statement by pressing two kisses upon her eyelids and smiling. "I know."

So? (bites her lip) What did you think?

Please let me know?
