I am Robotnik

The visionary of metal

I see the future

As towering machines of greatness

Over the lush green of Earth

Each night I lay asleep (and)

Dream of the possibilities

I recognize every last nut and bolt

Every thin sheet of metal that lines (the)

Metallic monuments

This strong desire

Within my own metal heart

Makes me reach out

And want to craft that greatness

To mold the steel

From my own flesh hands

I would've risen

Could've risen by now

If not for majestic animals

That seems to come from nowhere

And know exactly how to defeat me

They are not ordinary

They hold a special presence

That is passionate beyond my metal dream

It's as though they are children

Children of that planet

We have battled endlessly

For over ten years now

Their spirit is still as strong

As the day they first ruined me

And yet,

They never finish me off

Maybe it's our legacy

To duel as two forces

Natural passion of all things living

Against the cold iron of revolution

Regardless of their special hearts,

Mine can't help but want to crush theirs

To dominate them

And no one can change that
