In the back of her mind she could hear a faint buzzing sound. Katie was in the middle of dreaming about the date that Adam was going to take her on. Yesterday after school by her locker Adam told her that he would take her to for a walk in the park. She thought that it was the perfect idea for a first date. The bright sun shone through her white curtains and lit up her room causing her to open her eyes. She blinked a couple of times to get used to the light. Stretching her legs under the covers she let out a yawn and then dragged herself out of her warm bed. She didn't want to get up because once she did cold wind wrapped around her and caused goose bumps to form on her skin. The floor was cold with each step she took walking into the bathroom. She turned on the water and pealed off her clothes ready to get into the shower. Putting her hand in the shower the check the temperate first. When the water was just the right temperature she stepped in letting the warm water hit her face and trail down her body. She shampooed and conditioned her hair then grabbed the blue luffa off of the ledge and washed her body before stepping out onto the white mat. She dried off then walked out of the bathroom and into her bedroom to look for something to wear. She decided on a pari of flared jeans and a white t-shirt with a red scarf. When she was satisfied by the way she looked Katie made her way back into the bathroom to do her hair and makeup. She grabbed her curling iron and made a few loose curls in her hair before applying a small amount of mascara and some lipgloss. Stepping out into the cool air she made her way down the stairs and into the kitchen to grab some breakfast before meeting Adam at the park. She spotted a good looking red apple and decided to eat that. She went to the sink and turned on the water to wash the apple. After the apple was clean she took a bite. Loving the taste of apple in her mouth she went for another bite. Checking her watch she noticed it was almost noon. She threw the remains of the apple in the trash can and ran up the stairs to brush her teeth. Once her breath smelled like fresh mint and not apple she ran out the door and walked down the street to meet Adam. She turned the corner and saw Adam by the park entrance. She gave him a wave and a small smile before heading over in his direction.
