Entry #1
It wasn't the little movements at my feet that woke me up. It must have been at least 11 in the morning, so the sun played a part. But it was mostly the screams emitting from the living room. Anyone else would have grabbed a baseball bat or something from underneath their bed and would go to investigate, but not me. Screaming was pretty much my boyfriend's job.
What would it be today? A new song to break the fourth wall? Was he playing a new horror game? I had gotten used to it since I moved in to his house in Los Angeles, California. It had almost been four months. We'd been dating for seven months in all.
I sat up and slowly opened my eyes. I saw a white, shaking shih-tzu at the foot of my bed. I took him into my arms and cradled him for a moment.
"Aww, poor little Gryph-zor!" I scratched under his ears before sitting up. "Is daddy playing Slender again?" I took a few steps to the closed door before hearing him scream again.
"How do you...freaking... get out of here?!"He was breathing heavily and I could tell through the door. I slowly opened it as quietly as i could and shut it behind me.
"Hey," I whispered to Gryphon. "let's scare him, buddy! Shhh," I picked him up so his paws wouldn't make noise on the floor. I quietly walked through the hallway leading to the living room, which ultimately led to the room where Toby was in. I reached the doorway and paused to look at him for a moment.
He was wearing a red Tobuscus shirt. He had rigged a black curtain behind him to black out the windows behind him. He had one hand on the keyboard (probably for the arrow keys) and one hand on the mouse. I was right before, he was playing Slender.
"How does he know when the papers are being picked up?... and why does that upset him? It's just papers!Oh no you took my paperrss! Shut up!" You tried not to laugh as he commentated his game. "Get a job! Dis is my jobb! Yeah well, you're gonna freaking, get laid off!" You took two steps forward. "You little failure!"
He continued his commentary completely oblivious to you standing behind him. Finally, he was scared enough for me to get directly behind him. I got into the face cam. I put a finger to my lips miming to be quiet. The music picked up as he entered a tunnel and I tapped his shoulder. He screamed.
"SLENDER NO- Ohhh, Tee!" That was his nickname for me. "You scared the.. foop outta me!" I laughed.
"Sorry but the opportunity was golden," I got up in his face and smiled as he pecked my nose.
"So," he said while he paused the game and stopped the webcam from recording. I pulled up an extra chair, sat down, and put my head on his shoulder. "What do you wanna do today?" he asked. I sighed.
"Let's play video games all day," I looked into his eyes.
"Sounds like a plan." He smiled back.
