'Poor Reds.' He thought as he saw Grif get kicked in the nuts. Holding back a laugh he decided that now would be the best time to get involved so he activated his energy sword. He then leaped from the piller and said: "Hey Tex, remember me? Step away from the idoits." as the black armored ex-Freelancer turned around and got into her fighting stance.
"This time it's going to be a fair fight Tex, let's go!" He yelled as he charged towards her.
From the sidelines the Reds watched in shock and aw as they saw Tucker tradeing blows with the ex-Freelancer.
"Uh, what the Hell just happened?" Grif asked as he held his sore sack.
"I don't know."
"Well I think I can explain that one men." Sarge said as they listened. "It's quite possible that Tucker has lost his mind and wants to die like a real man so he thinks that he can take Tex on in a fight to the death, giving us time to escape and come up with a new battle plan. Bravo Tucker, bravo. I respect your death with honor and wish you luck in the next life." He said while giving a salute while Simmons and Grif stood there in shock at hearing their leader talk so highly about an enemy soilder, more or less so a Blue.
"Shut the fuck up Sarge!" Tucker yelled as he punched Tex across the face and kneed her in the stomach. She then grabed him by the right leg and broke it by hitting it hard enough to sent it inwards to the left side. "Ahhh! Fuck!" He yelled right before he quickly set it back into place and kept fighting.
"Okay, who the fuck is that? There's no way that's Tucker. He's just like the rest of us: Pathtic and weak." Grif said.
"Maybe Tucker had some secret training that is allowing him to keep up with Tex?" Simmions asked.
"All of you, shut the fuck UP!" He yelled as he ducked Tex's running punch but still hit the three of them. He then shot the grate's support beams with his rifle and backflipped away as the grate fell onto Tex. "Wanna keep going? Cause I'm up for another round if you are." He asked.
After running to the side as she tossed the grate at him Caboose was in aw.
"Wow. Tucker may become my new best friend." He stated.
"Given his fighting style, he may last up to five more minutes with Agent Texas." F.I.L.S.S. said.
"I wonder where he learned how to fight?" Caboose said as he saw Tucker unload a full clip at Tex, hitting her three times. Now here's where things get better: He holds his sword in his right hand and his rifle in his left as he mocks her: "You know Tex, I hear that you were the best of the Freelancers. That may be true but let's see how you stand ageinst me as your enemy."
At that moment one thought ran through everybody's, even Tex's minds: How did Tucker know all of this?
Running towards Tex, Tucker fired off round after round as he swong at her, she of course ducked, grabed the rifle, bashed him in the skull with it and kicked him in the chest.
"Ow." He groaned in pain as he fell to his knees. He then looked up and saw Tex cracking her knuckles before she drew back a punch.
"On no, Tucker." Caboose said as he and the Reds saw said man get hit so hard that it shocked them to their cores: his helmet came off!
"Fuck." He said as he saw his now shattered helmet on the floor.
He had long light brown dreadlocks that reached his lower back and light brown eyes.
"Well, this is something I never thought would happen."
"Hey Tex." Said Church as he tossed his old body. "Why don't you pick on somebody your own si... What the Hell? Tucker!?"
"Yeah." He said as he nodded his head.
"What the Hell happened to you?"
"Tex, that's what."
"He's been putting up a Hell of a fight." Tex said.
"Tucker?" Church asked again.
"Yes dude. Me and Tex have been going at it for a few minutes."
"He's better then you in more then one way."
"Bow Chika Bow Wow." He said with a grin as the Reds and Caboose laughed, Caboose for not getting what was going on and the Reds because they got what was going on.
"Anyway," he said as he put his sword away and grabed his rifle out of Tex's hands, "I've got to leave." He said as he was stopped by the Reds.
"Why dude?" Grif asked.
"Because I need to report back."
"Report back? To Who?" Sarge asked.
"The U.N.S.C."
"WHAT!?" Everybody asked at once.
"Yeah. Here's the thing: I'm a Type2 SPARTAN. Tucker AKA Number-111. I was sent by the U.N.S.C. to observe the Sim Troopers of Project Freelancer and report any findings that are worthy of their time. We had no idea that an A.I. was right under our noses the whole time. The boys and girls at the labs will love this news." He said as he turned back to face Church. "And your coming with me Church. Once we get the Epsilon Uint that is."
"What! Nobody's taking my best friend!" Caboose shouted as he ran up to Church and stood in front of him.
"I agree with ya there son. Church may be a dirty Blue but he's a commrade of ours. And commrads stick together. So if you want to take him you'll have to fight us first." Sarge said as he aimed his shotgun right at the back of the man's head as Simmions and Grif did the same. With a smirk he told them: "Do you really wanna try your luck Reds? If so then attack me, you won't hurt me at all. Nobody will help you."
"Think again." Tex said as she got next to Caboose.
"F.I.L.S.S. overide commande 126/Maxlock."
"Overide accepted." The program said as everyone minus Tucker and Caboose were locked in place.
"Hey. I can't move." Grif said.
"What's going on?" Church asked.
"Are you guys hurt?" Caboose asked.
"Nope. Their all just locked into place thanks to the armor lock. You are not affected since your wearing a SPARTAN class V helmet. And since mine's been destroyed I'm okay as well. Now that only leaves one last drawback to take care off." He said as he aimed his gun at Caboose's head.
"Don't!" They shouted.
"Tucker."
"What?" He asked.
"We are friends right?"
"So what does that have to do with this?"
"Friends help each other. Not hurt each other. Well except for Tex, she just hurt's everyone that she meets."
"Hey!" She said as the Reds laughed once again.
"Anyway, you are me second best friend and I want you to be quite and listen for once. Please don't take Church and please don't leave. Then we can be three best friends forever! Nobody has to stop living just because of Church bring wanted those people you are talking about."
"I wish we could Caboose, I really."
"Then why can't we?"
"Because in war, friends die. That's why I'm leaving. I don't want my friends to die because of me being here. I'm sorry guys but I need Church and the Espilon unit for the U.N.S.C."
"Please don't kill him Tucker." Church pleaded. "I'll go with you. Just leave them alive." He begged.
Tucker had tears coming from his eyes and with a chocked voice he told them: "Fine. Fine. I'll let you stay Church."
"Yeah!" The Reds and Blues said while Tex smiled.
"But I still need the Espilon Unit. Deal?" He asked as he lowered his gun.
"Deal. Take it. We don't need it." Church said.
"F.I.L.S.S., deactvate the armor lock."
"Dactvating armor lock."
"Okay you dirty ex-Blue, what's the plan?"
"We need to find out where Wash and the Meta are going. Plus we need to save Doc. I'll need access to all of the data I can get my hands on. F.I.L.S.S., unlock all data files regaurding Project Freelancer."
"Of course."
"Alright everyone, let's get to work. Shall we?" He said with a wide smile on his face while clasping his hands together as he, Church and Tex went to the archives as the rest of the group was still in shock over what they just saw. Cleary, Tucker was a badass after all.
