Len had his headphones in and was walking around the park with dark shades on so fangirls wouldn't recognize him, trying to relieve his stress. Why can't they just leave me alone? He sighed, irritated, as he remembered the day's previous events. Getting into a huge fight with his sister, his master pestering him to practice for a concert that he already had the routines down for even though he still had two more weeks to prepare. He had already practiced for an hour today even though he didn't need to, so why was he being forced to do more?

Then he had tried to go out to talk a relaxing walk and got swamped by fangirls and had to run back to the mansion and change his outfit and wear sunglasses so his face wasn't recognizable. NOTHING was going his way today.

He was so lost in thought he didn't notice that he was in the middle of the street until he looked up and saw a car hurtling toward him that seemed to be making no move to try and stop before it barreled into Len. Len froze in fear, hoping the man driving would look up from his phone and see him. The car was getting closer, but Len's feet were still glued to the ground. All he could hear was the rapid beating of his heart as everything around disappeared into a haze, and all that was left was him and the car. Him and the car. So why couldn't he move?

Yep. Nothing was going his way today.

Except, of course, for the speeding car.

Oliver walked down the street with a sigh. Nothing was going his way. He couldn't even commit suicide.

Oliver had become depressed after being bullied and harrassed, but things started sliding even further downhill when he moved to Japan from England to get away from his problems. With Oliver's luck, of course, moving only started new problems. He was illiterate and could only speak a heavily accented Japanese, making it hard to communicate. He couldn't make any friends. He started getting bullied in school; not only verbal abuse, but physical abuse as well. Oliver had the bandages to prove it.

He started cutting. He wanted to stop. Oh, how he wanted to stop. He didn't want these feelings. Why did he have to be like this?

It only made him more depressed.

Soon, he had tried to hang himself.

But of course, he couldn't even do that.

What were the chances of his roommate coming home 5 hours early because he forgot something and finding Oliver about to lose consciousness, his neck in a noose?

Apparently, with Oliver's horrid luck, the chances were high enough.

He had just managed to convince his roommate to let him leave the house, saying he just wanted to go for a walk for some fresh air and that he'd come right back. It wasn't a complete lie. Oliver was walking. And he was enjoying the fresh air rather much. But he wasn't going to go back anytime soon. In fact, he wasn't ever going to go back.

Oliver broke out of his thoughts when he saw a boy with yellow hair standing in the middle of the road staring at- A CAR BARRELING TOWARDS HIM?!

A/N: Teehee, first chapter! Sorry it was short, but I wanted a cliffhanger XD

Why does Oliver always have a tragic backstory in my fics? ...I guess I just like a damaged Oliver.

I had the idea for this fic as a Len and Oliver fic, but when I started writing it I accidentally started writing it as an Akaito X Mikuo fic. I was writing and then I was like, wait, why is Akaito depressed? I know I had an idea- OH WAITTTTT AKAITO ISNT DEPRESSED, AKAITO ISNT EVEN IN THIS STORY! EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW! *facepalm* Then I had to write the whole chapter over again. I feel stupid XD

BUT I FIXED IT! I HOPE YOU LIKE IT EVERYONE, MY SECOND OLILEN FIC! PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW! ~Moony
