After telling Yoh what she wanted to tell him, she went to go to her room to rest, but was stopped by two arms hugging her waist.
"I'll miss you, Anna," Yoh said.
"I-I'll miss you too, Yoh," Anna said, turning around to bury her head in his chest.
"We should go to sleep," Yoh said, kissing Anna's forehead.
"Can I sleep with you today?" Anna asked, looking up at Yoh, lifting her head off his chest.
"Sure, come on," Yoh said, guiding Anna to his bed.
As soon as they climbed into bed, Yoh wrapped his hands around Anna's waist while Anna snuggled up to him, burying her head into his chest again.
"Don't die in America, alright? If you do, I'll miss you and probably summon your soul and yell at you, and beat you up as well," Anna said, her voice muffled by Yoh's chest.
"Alright, I will. I will try my best to win the next few battles to fulfill my promise to you," Yoh said.
Anna raises her head a little from Yoh's chest. "That's why I love you. You try your best to fulfill all the promises you make and break some when necessary," she said.
"I love you too. I'm so happy that I am betrothed to you and not someone else," Yoh said to Anna.
"Me too. Let's go to sleep," Anna said, leaning up.
"Alright," Yoh said, leaning down to meet her lips. They kissed with passion and love the first time they kissed, but this time, it was different. This time, they poured all their emotions in it. They soon broke apart for air.
"Good night, love," Yoh said.
"Good night, my knight in shining armor," Anna said.
That night, they fell asleep happily at 11:58 P.M. That night, everything changed. That was the night that they both silently agreed to act the way they usually do when there are company around and how they just acted when they are alone.
