"Batten down the hatches, Lads!"

The rope Riki pull the main cell.

"Aye! Aye! Captain!" Riki replied as the rushed across the slippery deck to grab on to another rope flapping in the wind. Suddenly, the ship pitched sideways and a great wave crashed across the deck causing Riki to lose his footing. He slid towards the railing with a loose cannon barrel falling after him.

"Oh shit!". He grabbed at the railing trying to say to aboard but his hands slipped as the cannon barrel broke through the railing. He went overboard whacking his head against the passing cannon in the process. The last thing he remembered was his struggle to breathe in the dark water.

Iason swam smoothly through the moonlight looking at the great storm in the distance. He could see dark shapes on the horizon.

Must be humans, he thought as he moved closer, curious to see what they were doing. As he got closer he noticed that whatever it was it was sinking into the sea. Suddenly he heard a splash nearby and quickly ducked under the water to see what had made the sound.

He was surprised to find a boy, a human boy, sinking slowly no doubt weighted down by all of the odd clothes? he was wearing.

You're very pretty, Iason thought to himself as he swam towards the beautiful dark haired boy. Up close lason could tell that he had stopped breathing.

That's not good, he thought, It seems you cannot breathe the air from the water like us.

Iason darted forward the last few metres to grab the boy under the arms and pull him quickly to the surface.

Iason broke the surface of the waves throwing his head back to move his long blonde hair from his ice blue eyes.

He whacked the boy hard on the back when he didn't immediately start breathing the now abundant air. The boy started coughing and spitting up water. He seemed to be mumbling something but remained unconscious.

With the boy now breathing Iason slowly swam towards the nearest shore where he knew there was a human settlement.

By the time they arrived at the shore it was almost dawn. When the boy started to stir Iason settled him on the sand in the shallows, not being able to swim any farther. He lent over him just as the boy opened his eyes. Iason gasped. They were a beautiful obsidian color that reminded him in a sense of the darkest parts of the sea.

Suddenly he heard voices along the beach deciding that it would be better to leave the boy than to be discovered by a group of humans. He turned quickly with a flash of his azure scales and dove back into the sea only to surface a few metres away behind an outcropping of rocks, to watch as the boys fully woke. He was looking around in confusion when the other humans came upon him. They helped him up, questioning him on how he got there, but the boys just gazed out at the sea looking for his beautiful savior amongst to splash of the waves.
