Since I'm too lazy to update 'Blind Pain', here's a short Severus/Harry drabble.

The boy was infuriating.
He had been smiling like an angel all day in Potions class, not at no one in particular, no, he had been smiling so beautifully at the Potions Master himself, the one who taught the class, Severus Snape.
Why did Potter have to look so pretty when he did it? Those pink lips curled into that angelic smile, begging to be kissed by hi- No! He did most certainly not want to kiss Harry, nor will he ever.
Who was he fooling? He had been smitten with the petite feminine boy since the little angel's third year. Of course, he had not realized his love for the boy until third year, it might have been able to be traced back to their first encounter.
Now, seeing Harry's cute smiling face, he wondered. What would the boy be smiling at? Was he smiling at him? No, that was absurd, he would never so that...
Wait a minute. Cute? Harry? When were they ever on a first name basis? Severus nearly groaned out loud. Why had he fallen so hard for the one boy who would never see him as a person? Harry -POTTER!- would never call him Severus. Damn. This is just the same as it had been with James Potter, but now he was falling for his, -his old love's!- son...
Hold up. Harry was smiling at him, and has been doing so all throughout class. Does that mean something? Did it mean he had a chance? Even a miniscule one?
Did it mean that Harry might even return Severus's affections? If only a bit, that was enough for the Potions Master.
Though, maybe, just maybe, there was a tiny chance that the little angel in his classroom that was smiling so brightly at him loved him just as much as Severus did to him. Severus didn't want to raise his hopes up, but...
He just couldn't help it.
A small well of hope flamed in Severus's heart, and for the first time ever he did something no one would ever even dream of believing he would do.
Severus Snape returned Harry Potter's smile with one of his own.
