I woke up to a loud pounding outside my door.
"Rose!" yelled the all too familiar voice outside.
"What do you want Lissa" I yelled back
"You have to get up Rose, It's like 10pm!"
"So?"
"Well if you don't get up soon Dimitri's going to kill himself. I think he thinks you've run away….Again"
I laughed to myself and got out of bed.
Everything had finally worked out in my life. I was Lissa's guardian, I had patched things up with my mum and to top it all off I had the love of my life Dimitri with me. My life is amazing! I walked to my wardrobe and grabbed my guardian uniform (Black button up, black pants and boots). I walked over to the bathroom to freshen up before I started my shift. After my shower I left to find Lissa. I didn't have to go far before I found her. She and Christian were snuggling together on one of the courts love seats. Standing nearby was Lissa's other guardian, Guardian Swift and next to him stood Christian's guardian. And he was none other than my wonderful Dimitri.
As is sensing my approach Lissa's head snapped up and through the bond I felt nothing but excitement and jealousy. Wait…Jealousy? Why is Lissa jealous? I looked at Lissa and gave her a puzzled smile; she just gave me a sweet smile and turned back to Christian.
I walked over to my partner Guardian Swift and told him I'll take over. Dimitri turned and smiled a mischievous smile.
"What?" I asked smiling back
"Hang on let me tie my shoe."
I hadn't noticed what he was doing until he got down on one knee and grabbed my hand.
"Rosemarie Elizabeth Hathaway, from the day I saw you I knew you were the one for me. I felt an instant connection and it was after we shared our first kiss that we were meant to be. Rose…my sweet Roza, will you do me the honor of completing my soul by marrying me and becoming my wife?"
Tears were slowly falling down the sides of my face, "Yes! Yes! A million times yes!"
Dimitri slid the ring on my finger, got up and kissed me. And Oh was it a kiss, it was filled with love, passion, lust and greed. When we finally broke apart I swear I felt dizzy, but all that soon left when the nausea hit me.
