Are these author notes annoying? Sorry. I'm gonna have a lot of them on my stories.
Anyways, happy Valentines Day! My plans for today: write fanfiction about my OTPs. Yes, Jason/Reyna is one of them, yes, I like Jason/Reyna. More so than Jason/Piper sometimes, when Piper gets on my nerves. I was kind of cramming on writing this, so it's a little rushed, I apologize. As always, please review, and thanks for reading this!

a heart made of stone
(a stone-cold heart is incapable of love)
.
Reyna sits underneath the moonlight at a cliff, a pile of rocks beside her. In her left hand is a flat, dark gray stone, smooth and cold in her hands as she flips it over.
She hurtles it with all her might off the cliff, watching as it makes contact with water, a loud splash heard before sinking deep into the ocean.
She picks up another rock—this one sharper, chipped, broken in certain places.
It kind of feels like her heart—jagged, rough, missing chunks of what used to be a full stone, a full heart-
She hurls it off the cliff too, watching it disappear in the dark water, sinking down, down down-
-(like her heart did, when she saw Jason step off the ship holding hands with a beautiful girl that she can't compete with)-
She screams, thinking about that Piper Mclean girl, who broke Reyna's heart into two pieces and threw it in the ocean to sink, who stole Jason when he had amnesia, and now Reyna has no chance of getting Jason back-
She picks up another rock, and bangs it on the hard dirt, watching a few rock chips fly off, skitter off the cliff.
Reyna can't hate Piper. Piper is a good girl, nice and sweet and everything that Reyna is not. And at least Piper can let people in her heart. Her heart is warm like a fireplace, welcoming and inviting, while Reyna's is cold and solid, like a stone.
Reyna admits, Piper is a better choice for Jason—heck, if she were Jason, she would pick Piper over herself—but it still hurt, the fact that Jason doesn't remember anything about their relationship, has no romantic interest in Reyna whatsoever-
She throws the rock off the cliff, watching the water jump in the air, flying for a few seconds-
-(flying straight into love)-
-before plummeting, dropping straight back down, falling-
-(back into reality)-
and she pulls her knees to her chest.
Now would be a perfect time to cry, but she doesn't, she won't let those tears fall, because she is emotionless and does not love anyone and her heart is just a cold, cold stone.
