Promise Me
The young blond crossed over the room, pulling on the mandatory clothes for the job. "When are you going to tell her, Zack?"
Zack smiled lazily, looking over at his lover. "Soon, I swear… why don't you come back to bed…"
"We've got a mission today, stupid" laughed the blonde, finishing the final touches on the uniform. "With the great Sephiroth, no less!"
Zack smiled and turned over. "Ah, it's not that special." besides-" he added, smiling slyly, "Sephiroth can wait another, hmm… half hour or so?"
The blonde laughed sweetly again, sitting back on the bed. The laughter did not last long "Promise me you'll tell her as soon as we return?"
Zack inhaled sharply. He never thought it would come to this, having to choose between two people he loved. "I promise."
"I love you, Zack."
He smiled. It was easy to say. "I love you too, Cloud."
