Against The Twisted Geass
"How interesting...and big..." Kinara Yolei muttered in mild amazement as she stared up at Ashford Academy, the wind making the school uniform's skirt blow about a little bit.
Kinara wasn't from the area for she was born in Osaka, Japan to one of the smartest families in Osaka. She was particularly smart herself, but she hated to show off what she could do, unlike her parents who loved to create things that they never really needed. She liked to read while sitting down on a cozy eggchair with one light in the living room. She finally could afford her own house, and it was small, with a kitchen that had a sink, a refridgerator, a stove, cupboards, cabinets, and a small counter to eat on. The living room contained a futon, a TV, a computer, and a small library on one wall filled with novels, a few mangas, some photobooks from when she was young and the persent, and a few books filled with photos of nature that she took with her special camera.
Kinara walked into the school, heading straight for the main office down a crowded hallway full of talking teenagers. She was getting a little uncomfortable, so she clutched her book that she was in the middle of reading, called "Interview With a Vampire" by Ann Rice, closer to to her chest. As she got to the main office, she could see a figure standing just a few feet from the door.
"Um...excuse me?" She said, her voice a little smaller than she intended, but it seemed like the woman behind the desk heard her for she turned around and gave a warm, welcoming smile.
"Well, you must be Kinara Yolei! We thought that you were supposed to come yesterday...what happened?"
"Oh! Sorry, my plane got delayed for a whole day, so I stayed at the airport to wait..." Kinara gave a nervous laugh, an animesweatdrop forming at the side of her head when she remembered how she nearly fell off of the seat when the intercom come on, informing everyone that the flight would be up in a few minutes.
"Lelouch Lamperouge will be your guide around the school and to your classes, dearie!" The woman smiled and nodded to the figure that Kinara saw before coming in.
Lelouch was more interesting than Kinara realized. He was pretty tall, with a light build and pale skin. He also had short, black hair and these piercing violet eyes, almost like he could tell what you were thinking. He was extremely kind, though, as he nodded to the woman behind the desk and smiled at Kinara as he said, "Shall we go to your homeroom, Kinara?"
Kinara nodded, smiling back, and followed him to the room that was her homeroom. There she met Millie Ashford, who glomped her and tried to grope her chest, only to be shoo'd away by Lelouch. She also met Suzaku Kururugi, a young, handsome Knightmare Frame pilot and the knight of a princess whose name was Euphemia Li Britannia. However, poor Euphie was murdered by a villan name Zero who was currently being hunted down as well as his followers called the Black Knights.
Kinara quickly became used to people talking to her and asking her a few things, but nothing to the extreme, which suited her just fine. Whenever she had a free period, Suzaku, Lelouch, Kallen, Shirley, and Millie can usually find her in thew school's library reading a book or looking on the computers for something.
At the end of the day, Kinara waved goodbye to the others and started to walk home, not noticing that she was being followed by someone dangerous, with a weapon of mass hysteria imbeded inside of both his eyes...............
It was Mao, and, whether Kinara liked it or not, she was going to be his new victim no matter what.
