Open and shut case. Theft. Boring. Waste of my time. I remember yawning repeatedly and whacking my head against the wall. Dull. Boring. Pointless. Eugh.

"Sherlock, are you even listening?" Lestrade groaned. I turned to him, expression mutual.

"No. Not really." I beamed. John and Lestrade gawked at me. I began to fiddle with my coat pockets.

"But Sherlock, it's the Royal Family." Lestrade sighed. Harry, or should I say His Majesty Prince Harry, looked faintly amused.

"So? It's boring. Where are they?" I patted my pockets, now determined to find them.

"Sherlock, it's your duty." John stated, curiosity mingling across his features. I turned to him, pouting.

"I have no duty except to search my own pockets!" Looking back at my coat, I saw a bulge in my left most pocket and grinned, placing my hand in it and closing my fist around the brown paper bag.

"What are you searching for?" Lestrade asked. I smiled to myself. Now was my chance. I had always wanted to do this! Quickly I spun around to see the Queen looking worried. I held the bag out to her.

"Would you like a jelly baby, Your Majesty?" I smiled roguishly at her. A heavy silence overcame the drawing room. John was shocked, Lestrade was facepalming, the Princes were laughing silently and The Queen looked confused. I held my nerve.

"Don't mind if I do." I grinned at her as she removed the red humanoid sweet and popped it in her mouth.

"Just as good as I remember. Thank you Sherlock." She smiled at me sweetly. I bowed.

"And now I make my exit. The diamonds are under the tea cosy. The maid put them there." I quickly walked out of the room before anyone could stop me. John followed hastily.

"Oh My God Sherlock! If anyone else had… wow!" His eyes were full of admiration. I looked down at him, feeling like laughing. His grin made me want to laugh. Lestrade tapped my shoulder.

"That was the most risky, stupidly amazing thing I have ever seen. Never ever do it again. You hear me?" I nodded at him, playing the part of the naughty school boy.

"Yes Mr Sir. I won't, Mr Sir."

Lestrade shook his head at me. "Don't do that. It's scary."

I laughed.

"Jelly baby anyone?"
