I cursed under my breath and hurried on through the crowds of Kings Cross station.
It was stupid, really, that I was lost in Kings Cross..I sighed and checked the small clock attatched to my necklace.
Eight minutes until the train left.
I started swearing rapidly under my breath, causing some passers by to shoot me disgusted looks. I had almost given up, when someone grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the crowds. I looked up, ready to scream if I saw a stranger. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw one of my my best friends, Willow Casson pulling me along.
Three minutes later we were stood on platform 9 and Three quarters. There was no time for standing as Willow carried on pulling me until we were on the train.
There she threw her arms around me. "I was so worried" Her dark blonde hair was falling out its ponytail. I pulled away from the hug. "I'm fine, Will" I reassured her.
Will nodded and led me to a compartment. She sighed and sat down. "The others will be back in a minute" Willow said. I nodded.
A second later the door swung open and Erin and Jennette had piled into the compartment. I waved at my two ther friends. Nettie squeaked and flung her arms around me dramatically. I grinned, "Aww, I missed you too" I said. Nettie pulled away. "You never get lost" Erin remarked as she gave me a short hug.
I nodded as the train started moving, "I know, but I was ill and my head only just cleared up" I replied. Will smiled. "Well, you're here now"
"I didn't think it was possible to get lost in Kings Cross" I glanced up, "Hi boys" I said. Remus nodded a hello, James and Sirius grinned and Peter waved. "And, neither did I" I replied to Sirius. Then how did you?" James aked, to which I simply shrugged.
"Oh, well, we really just came to make sure you were safe" Remus said. I smiled. "Im great!" I replied. Each boy nodded, "Well" James said. "we're off" Sirius finished and they both walked away. "Reading." Remus mumbled. And Peter had already gone.
I turned back to my friends, Nettie was grinning and Willow was blushing. "Peter looks great" Nettie giggled. I glanced at her. "Really?" I asked, She nodded. "Gross" I whispered.
Nettie frowned and pulled out a book from her bag. I rolled my eyes at her then did a double take. "Why and How, are you already in your school robes?" I asked Nettie, only now noticing her Hufflepuff robes.
She shrugged and turned back to her book.
I looked aroung the compartment, Nettie was absorbed in her book, Erin was asleep and Willow was humming a song. I smiled lightly and sank back into my seat.
