Chapter One

BRRRIIIIINNNNGGGG!!! Blared the alarm clock into Evan's ear. "Aw, man!" he said as he soon came to realize his weekend had just finished. "Why does the weekend go by so fast?" he said. "Because you were having too much fun, and didn't do any of your homework," Ororo suggested when she came into her nephew's room. "Auntie O, I don't think I had any homework." Then Ororo said, "Get ready, you are going to be late for school."

~At Bayville High School~

Pietro, a fast paced guy, was getting ready to torture Evan with a challenge. As Evan was coming his way Pietro said, "Oh look, if it isn't the slowpoke, Spyke Boy." Evan simply replied, "So what if I am slow, at least I can spike you to a wall." "To spike me to a wall, you have to catch me first," Pietro shot back at Evan. Their heads turned as they heard little explosions. It was Tabitha or as some called her Boom-Boom. Tabitha had been Pietro's crush for a very long time. "Hi, guys," said Tabitha. Pietro didn't know what to say. "Wassup," greeted Evan. Pietro was still speechless. "What's wrong with Pietro," questioned Tabitha. Pietro finally spoke, "Oh, hi, sorry, um." It was too late, Tabitha, had already walked away. "Pietro has a crush on Tabitha," teased Evan. "What? No way," Pietro replied. Pietro zoomed away. Evan just walked away thinking about Tabitha. Was he also starting to like her? If he was, he couldn't let Pietro find out. What if Pietro does find out?

I know I like her but I'm afraid to let her know how I feel. No one can find out I like her. Pietro thought to himself.

I can't start to like Tabitha, I'm just her friend. Pietro cannot find out. Evan thought.
